D. INTENT TO APPLY 1. Why have you decided to apply for the position of TL? What has been the moment or a person in AIESEC that has motivated you the most to take this shot?

2. Please list your (fixed) academic and work commitments for the months March to May. Assume, you are a TL, how do you intend to balance your AIESEC-obligations with the stringent rules/timelines of the university during this period?

3. How do you see your future shaping up, in AIESEC as well as outside it?

E. GENERAL TL QUESTIONS 1. What is the job role of an exchange-TL?

2. Apart from the exchange process, what are the different aspects of learning that a member will go through if you are the TL of his/her project/department?

3. From the perspective that a TL-position is one of the most important positions for AIESEC Jalandhar in the coming months, give 5 principles/values/guidelines/bottom lines that should guide the behavior of a TL.

4. Looking at the kind of environment that exists in LPU/Jalandhar/Ludhina, how do you plan to position AIESEC as a brand that the universities supports and the youth loves for the reasons that are the same as those that exist anywhere else in India?

E. POSITION SPECIFIC QUESTIONS For TL in ICX 1. Analyze Performance of the department (TN/GCDP adhoc/GCDP Projects) previous year. (Give a detailed description) Suggest three focus areas for next three months? 2. What can be the biggest challenges of the department (TN/GCDP adhoc/GCDP Projects) this year? How will you work towards overcoming these challenges?

3. How do you plan to grow your department in terms of capacity in exchange for next three months?

4. How will you make sure that Trainee Servicing happens efficiently?

5. Assuming you are a TL in AIESEC Jalandhar this year, how do you plan to work towards making your department a sustainable one by next year?

6. Give a complete selling pitch for a corporate/NGO/school or college?

For TL OGX 1. Critically analyze the OGX growth in the past 7 months? What should be the future directions for the coming months? (Explain in clear cut points )

2. Give a detailed plan (Week by Week division) for the portfolio you are applying including the targets to be achieved. Also include the promotion-strategies you plan to use. (Please make sure the plans are realistic and justified)

3. What are the results you have achieved/intend to achieve for OGX in the coming three months?

4. Suggest five growth areas that have been completely unexplored in OGX.

For TL ER 1. Which market are you going to tap and what products will you sell them? How do you plan to deliver these products?

2. Assume that AIESEC in Jalandhar is organizing a Learning-Networks Day for 1000 people, with sessions on all projects being run by AIESEC LPU. Make a four-page proposal for the purpose of fund-raising with details of: AIESEC and the way it works/runs as an organisation The required funds or in-kind support or both The product-packages for sale (also mention below how do you plan to deliver the proposed packages : )

3. What are your ER-targets till 30th May 2011?

For TL Trainee-Delivery & Logistics 1. How would you create a system of 100% security and transparency in all the financial matters relating to the intern-house?

2. Where do you think AIESEC Jalandhar is lacking in providing great and memorable experiences to its interns? Why do you think this is? What are the solutions that you will implement as TLTDL? 3. If it so happens that a female intern has just arrived in Jalandhar for an internship and you have no option but to ask her to pay a considerably-huge security-deposit for the intern-house. You know that if she doesnt do so, she will not have a place to stay for the night. How will you convey the message to her. If you have any other brilliant idea other than paying for her, please mention that as well.

4. What steps will you take to ensure that all the required logistics are always readily available for every GBM/MBM/EBM in AIESEC LPU?(Kindly answer keeping in mind the usual agenda for these meetings and the realities/complexities that exist for such meetings in Jalandhar/Ludhina)
