PRAYER OF GRACE Precious Lord of the Universe: Today, I come before you humble and reverent. I come to you with a spirit of gratitude and mind that has begun to doubt - You, me and the process. I confess the errors of my own thinking; those that are conscious and those that are not. I confess the heaviness in my heart; for reasons known and unknown. I confess the regrets of the past and the fears of the future that are, right now, in this moment colliding within me, creating dis-quiet in my spirit. I confess that every moment I try to do it on my own, my own way, for my own reasons, I end up in this state, believing I am separate from You and your grace. Forgive me for I know not what I do. And even when I do know, my humanness seems to overtake me. Lord, you know that I am not perfect and that I have fallen short of Your will on many days. Thank you God for knowing me and growing me in ways I was to stubborn to undertake on my own. I realize that life is full of trials and that without those trials, I would not seek your face. So today I ask You my Lord, the next time I get ready to complain, re-mind me to remember that you are the answer to every prayer and that youve got what I need.
