Acid Rain:

Contorting the rocks shape with its acidic properties, the rain came down in a torrential downpour upon the unsuspecting wilderness devastating everything within its vengeful path. The effects of acid rain are very harmful and must be treated with the utmost care and responsibility with due haste, otherwise the consequences could be devastating for many ecosystems across the globe throwing them off the pivotal balance of life into utter chaos and despair. To completely comprehend all that we are able to do we must take into consideration some causes and effects of this abhorrent and deleterious rain. The main cause of acid rain is atmospheric pollution; this specific type of pollution comes in two forms; dry, and wet. Wet deposition is primarily caused by sulfuric acid stemming from factories and other various sources, mixing with precipitation and falling down upon the earth in miniscule droplets, while dry deposition occurs from pollutant particles drifting down onto the crust of the earth from sources such as factories or volcanoes. It is imperative that we limit the amount of pollution we put into the air every day, so this may not constantly happen. Some of the most pertinent effects would be, the destruction of forests around the world as well as the imbalance in pH of some lakes rendering them chemically unsuitable for life. Many other undesirable effects occur from this terrible plague, such as buildings corroding, costing thousands, even millions of dollars to repair. The rain drizzling down upon us is loaded with chemicals which can be irritating to the skin or even fatal should the pH level get acidic enough and an open wound is present. Thus, acid rain has an annoying, costly, and undesirable effect upon many different facets of the world.

As well as trying to use alternative sources of energy other than fossil fuels. Acid rain is a very potent detrimental environmental effect and can cause serious health problems, we should be doing all that we are able to in order to reduce and eventually eliminate this serious crisis. While the main causes of acid rain are mass production factories that we have become reliant upon and have become a staple in many countries. I believe that through acts of conservation of energy we can eradicate these threats, and make our environment a safer and overall better place to live. Thus for the future all we have to place our hopes and dreams upon are the next generation and their hopefully environmentally observant natureWhat am I kidding myself were doomed.
