Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Titus 2:15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you. 3:1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. 3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justi ed by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to af rm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and pro table to men. Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unpro table and useless. 10 Reject a divisive man after the rst and second admonition, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

WANDERING HEARTS One of historys great moments occurred at the time the wilderness generation of Jews was given opportunity to possess the land of Canaan under Gods promise of blessing. That generation--possibly a million or more people--became the focus of both the Hebrew Scripture and the New Testament (Ps. 95:10; Heb. 3:10), which characterized them as having wandering hearts.

(Psa. 95:10-11) For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways. So I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest. [Quoted in Heb. 3:10] Wandering hearts= means to wander or stray from reality as God has de ned it. Moses had led them out of slavery in Egypt, but shortly after entering the wilderness, they found a new bondage: The possibility that they might die in the wilderness gripped their souls, and they developed the very persona of fear. This governing concern became worry (inordinate focus on negative possibilities) that evolved into psychotic distress every time some danger presented itself . Ex. 14:11-12 ...have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? ...For it would

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness. In short, because they functioned on chronic anxiety, they were helpless to practice any effective form of stress management. By the time they reached the borders of Canaan and heard the negative report presented by ten of the twelve scouts, they were entrenched in a pattern of control by fear. The news that giants occupied the land caused them to retreat into a psychotic state of mind; reality was shut out and self-induced misery took over. (Num. 14:1-4) So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! 3 Why has the LORD brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt? 4 So they said to one another, Let us select a leader and return to Egypt. Their psychotic distress was manifested in cycles of weeping, depression, frustration, more weeping, self-pity, more weeping, and then anger. (They blamed God, Moses, Aaron, and anyone else who disagreed with them.) Finally, turning to psychotic delusion concerning the past, they came up with a new but unviable option: They decided to return to Egypt,

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

which, in their deluded thinking, promised the last semblance of attainable happiness. This account is a warning to all believers of the consequences of a wandering heart--of living life without regard to your appointed niche in the will and purpose of God. The term heart refers to thinking patterns of the soul that focus on action or procedural ethics for life. In the process of straying from reality, a wandering heart loses touch with reality with who he is, who God is, and what Gods plan has for him. The Exodus generation also experienced divine justice: Their greatest fear was realized. You can guess where they died! Thats rightin the wilderness! Only two great men of faith survived to enter the land of Canaan Caleb & Joshua. This year promises to be a year of uncertainty. So each believer must give serious thought to how Gods justice might apply to you should you live on the basis of fear. PRINCIPLES: 1. Client nations are protected by Jesus Christ Who controls history, but He does so on behalf of the Pivot composed of mature believers. A nation composed of immature and pagan believers will receive what it deserves. 2. Salvation results in eternal life and deliverance from the lake of re in eternity; spiritual growth of a mature Pivot results in deliverance from predator nations in time.

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

3. The Exodus generation was saved out of Egypt when its members expressed faith in the Pascal [Passover] lambs power to protect their rstborn from the destroyer angel. They understood the principle of an innocent substitutionary sacri ce which they came to know as the Messiah. 4. These two examples stress the importance of faith alone in Christ alone, but they also emphasize the results of the Jews collective failure to follow through with spiritual growth. 5. Ignorance of the fact that salvation has no immediate impact on a persons temporal life unless he uses its accompanying assets to grow in grace, results in the absence of invisible historical impact in that persons life. 6. When an increasing percentage of believers in a client nation remain ignorant while others peel off into the cosmic systems, then Pivot Power is gradually replaced by Political Power. 7. Since the repudiation and discrediting of the biblical worldview is the strategy of the Dark Side, then it may be rightly concluded that in this case Political Power will be in opposition to the Laws of Divine Establishment, the divine institutions and the overall Plan of God. This same type of rebellion against God occurred previouslyin eternity past with Lucifer and the fallen angels over a signi cant period of time...before the creation of man. [Isa. 14:12-14; Ezek. 28:11-19.] Everything re: the spiritual life must be considered under the framework of the Angelic Con ict. If you do not understand the AC, you know nothing about why you are hereand most Christians

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

know nothing about the AC, which tells you where we stand with God. The beginning of the AC: During this period several things occurred: (1) The universe was shut down with the earth becoming a waste land (Genesis 1:2 cf. Isaiah 45:18). (2) Lucifer and the rebellious angels were put on trial before the Supreme Court of Heaven, found guilty of sedition, and were sentenced to the lake of re (Matthew 25:41). Then He will also say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting re prepared for the devil and his angels... (3) Lucifer, serving as his own defense attorney, appealed the verdict and the sentence was stayed for a speci c period. (Matthew 25:41 cf. Revelation 20:10), and (4) The appeal trial for Lucifer was placed on the docket by the Supreme Court of heavento be implemented throughout human history. How long the universe was in existence prior to Lucifers fall and up to the point of its restoration, is not known. But the earth was restored for the purpose of conducting the appeal trial and the creation of mankind as a test case (Genesis 1:331). The appeal trial was called to order with the creation of Adam and Ishah as the prototype for human life (Genesis 1:2627) and they were given the assignment to produce potential witnesses for the prosecution in the appeal trial (Genesis 1:28).

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

Jesus Christ holds the patents on all of His creations. Regarding the human race, He created the machinery by which mass production of potential witness could be carried out. Since Christ owns the patent and we are His property, then He is free to judge the production of each and every person He selects. Evaluations of the works of believers and unbelievers will be conducted in two future trials: (1) the evaluation tribunal of Christ for Church Age believers following the Rapture (2 Corinthians 5:10; 1Corinthians 3:11 15; Rom. 8:1). For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body... (2) The Great White Throne Judgment at the end of history for all unbelievers and fallen angels (Revelation 20:1115). The environment in which all of this takes place is the universe, including planet earth which was created out of nothing in a moment of timesimply by the Word of Yahweh. This means that where nothing previously existed, suddenly everything existedstars, quasars, novas, galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, meteors, and black holes and the Angelic Con ict was about to begin! Divine decrees were established as Gods self-imposed oaths to His integrity and purpose in creation (Heb. 6:13).

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

Gods covenant with Himself is the Master Covenant or divine decrees through which all future covenants would come. Nothing occurs between God and His creation unless there is rst a contract which de nes His purpose and the rules for success. The AC is based on a covenant or contract between the Father and Lucifer which governs the Appeal Trial. I will call it The Appeal Covenant. Gods promises are recorded and secured as Divine Decrees something which Lucifer has attempted to change. Psalms 2:1-4 1 Why do the heathen rage and the people (society at large having embraced pagan ideas) imagine a vain worthless thing (empty of value). [They desire to change Gods plans.] 2 The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His Appointed One. 3 Let us break their bands asunder (the restraints imposed by God) and cast away their cords of control [We want to be free from these decrees that restrain us and keep us from our full potential. These are the ideas of Lucifer and the fallen angels.] 4 He who sits in the heavens [i.e. the One who rules Earth through the supremacy of the spiritual kingdom] laughs indeed the Lord shall have them in derision. The principle is that God is unmoved by what they say or do and will carry out His own plan for those who dont want the restrictions imposed by the spiritual kingdom.

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

When anyone attempts to change Gods Master Plan, which deals with Gods promises to Himself, GOD LAUGHS. It is the laugh of thinking about something and associating it with its total impossibility. Why would God change a promise to Himself when that promise re ects the integrity of who He is and the total happiness related to it. The Divine Decrees contain Gods promises to Himself as a means of applying His integrity toward creation. He has promised to make divine truth concerning life and its purpose available to all who truly desire to know it but those who do not desire intimacy with God are identi ed as: the simple [those easily enticed by cosmic solutions to life], the scorner [those who focus on negative issues, complaining, and nding fault], and the fool [i.e. a person who never sees value where true value exists. The fastest way to turn him off is to give him divine truth. His inner love is for liesespecially about God.
Proverbs 1:26-33: Because you neglected all my advice, and did not comply with my rebuke, so I myself will laugh when disaster strikes you, I will mock when what you dread comes...Because they hated knowledge (of BD), and did not choose to fear (i.e. respect) the LORD...they did not comply with my advice...the careless ease of fools will destroy them. However, whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.

So it is with Luciferhe violated his relationship with the Father (Isa. 14.12-17; Ezek. 28.15-17).

Isaiah 14:12-17 How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!... For you have said in your heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High. Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. Ezek. 28:15-17 You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God;...Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor...

The nal judgment of Lucifer and the fallen angels will not take place until the Second Advent of LJC. An appeal to Gods judgment was issued by the defensive strategy of Satan based on the challenge that Satans ideology was better for the creature than Gods way of

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

11

life and that left to themselves, nite creatures could nd a way of life superior or equal to Gods predetermined way of life. Gods decision was to create an inferior race of creatures (similar to the angels), give them free will or volition and chronicle the results of their decisions to see which lifestyle was more advantageous to the creature. Satan acquiesced to this decision and became party of the second part in a covenant agreement with God. Spiritual Logic from the study of the Word means that when one thing is true then some conclusions from it are self-evident. Everything we do in life must be covered by a contract/covenant with God because we are answerable to Him. God deals with His creatures by making a covenant with Himself. Hebrews 6:13
...when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself...

God wants you to live His way of life, but He has given the freedom not to do it. To reject Gods way of life leaves only one other option to live a way of life designed by Lucifer. While you dont have to live Gods way of life you are still accountable for what you do. There are both strategic and tactical issues involved in all of Gods covenants. In everything God does He has an objective or purpose in doing it. Strategy= What God does and why. Tactics= Explains how he does it.

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

12

Once God establishes a strategy and puts His purpose into action He makes sure we can know what He is doing. Everything He wants us to know about His plans has been put into writing (the Scriptures). God wants to share His wisdom and ideology with creatures so they can know how their life can be enhanced. But volition and free will are critical to Gods plan. The objective of the CWL is to think as God thinks! There is only ONE WAY to please the Father. The believers objective must be to come to know Gods plan and purpose and then discover how to reach it. Its not enough to just want to do it. The Appeal Covenant made with Lucifer and the fallen angels is designed to resolve the various problems of the Angelic Con ict and to put Lucifer under certain restrictions. These rules give Lucifer his limitations. He must function under them. It limits what he can do. THE 10 RULES OF THE APPEAL COVENANT I. The preservation of free will or volition. Creatures must be free to choose. II. Only two ideologies will be allowed to function in human history Gods way of life and Lucifers way of life. III. There is to be no limitations on verbal presentations there is free speech. Satan can say anything he pleases and God presents His truth in BD. IV. Protection of the innocent. Children up to the age of accountability are protected and should they die will go to heaven.

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

13

V. Personal accountability for all choices and decisions. VI. God will not allow the two opposing ideologies to be mixed or merged in any way they are completely separate ways of life. VII. The rule of Exchange: To follow Gods way of life and BD is to exchange it for the Cosmic System into which we are born. When you sin, you choose the cosmic system and give up Gods way of life. Salvation is permanent, but believers can choose to reject Gods way of life discipline will result. You can be a vessel of honor or a vessel of dishonor (Rom. 9). To chose to sin makes you an antagonist to Gods plan. Matthew 12:30 Whoever is
not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. Any time you choose a cosmic or human

viewpoint over divine viewpoint, you violate a principle of divine truth and you exchange blessing for cursing. Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who are weary and
burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry.

Because of this rule, every sin becomes an exchange of +R and youre requesting for Satan to help solve the problem. VIII. The testing of Lucifers sin. This occurs in the cultural development of paganism which often takes over whole nations. It was Lucifers rebellion and sin which fathered the Angelic Con ict a demonstration of paganism in eternity past. Titus 1:15-16 summarizes the attitude All is pure to those who
are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16 They profess to know God but with

IX. The division of time. Human history will be divided into dispensations for the outworking of Gods directive will and covenants. X. The LJC is the star witness against Lucifer in the Angelic Con ict, but every believer takes part by becoming a witness for the prosecution. These 10x rules de ne the execution of speci c decrees which are immutable and operational in every covenant that God has made or will make with the human race. God has promised Himself that He will honor these rules which He authored (Heb. 6:10-18). Before the Appeal Covenant could be executed, Lucifer had to agree with its authority. If any of his followers (demons) violate the conditions of these rules they will immediately be imprisoned, there to await their nal judgment. A violation actually happened during the rst evil generation (Genesis 6; Jude 6). These 10x rules are a major causal factor under the doctrine of sowing & reaping. They explain that means and results are separate issues in the decision process of human beings. a) Means (or cause) refers to the mechanics of what we choose to think and practice so that each person has a say in what will eventually be his lifes destiny, whether in time or eternity. This means that under the sovereign of ce of the Father, your choices and practices are noted by God and He responds to them on your

their deeds they deny him, since they are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.

behalf. If you choose to live a life separate from the one He offers, He will hold you accountable for your decision and your decision decides the means of what is available to you in living your life. (Rule #7= the rule of exchange.) a) Results (or effect) refers to your circumstances under the way of life you have chosen (i.e. good or evil). If you reject Gods way of life, then you must live under Satans way of life. These 10x rules which are designed to resolve the issues of the AC deal with creature limitationaccountabilityand responsibility as a rebuke to Lucifers contentions that nite limitations of mankind are a cause for the creatures failure to implement Gods directive will. At the heart of Lucifers defense against the indictments from God was the issue of his seeking justi cation for his sin. This issue is also seen in how Cain handled the indictments against him when he brought the wrong offering to God. Genesis 4:3-8
Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD. 4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, 5 but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. So the LORD said to Cain, Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies

at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it. Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.

Sin and rebellion originated with Lucifer and came into human history through his in uence on society. 1 John 3:8
...let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as God is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning.

Lucifers rebellion and sin against God is manifested in society which perceives some fault and failure in Gods design and plans and on the basis of this false perception creates and designs new rituals or protocols as a substitute and act on it in Gods name. In some cases a ritual from a past dispensation is inserted into a new dispensation (i.e. keeping the Mosaic Law; tithing). They think, it was good enough for Israel so its good enough for us. As Satan, Lucifer is an adversary to Gods way of life. This means that his mind is no longer open to the idea that Gods way of life has greater value than his own. He is an adversary this denotes six things: 1. He will never repent of his error or of opposing Gods way. 2. He believes with all his heart that Gods plan is awed and that God has no true sympathy for His creatures nite limitations.

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

17

3. While he believes that Gods in nite essence is eternal and His omniscience (all knowledge) complete, he believes that God has distanced Himself from His creation. Lucifer is always a critic of anyone who argues for Gods way of life. 4. He looks for ways to be critical of God. 5. His heart is permanently hardened to the point that the only way of life he supports is his own. 6. He argues that spiritual law is beyond the creatures comprehension. He seeks to change moral values, so that what is legal is of greater value than what is right in Gods eyes. Moral values can change if one is somehow justi ed in changing them or what is right for you may not be right for me. In conclusion: The Appeal Covenant calls for a star witness to testify to the issues of the Angelic Con ict in the face of Gods in nite way of life. 1) Reality: Christ lived a sinless life as true humanity under totally nite daily pressures. Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot
sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

2)

Throughout His incarnation the LJC refuted the Devils contention that Gods way of life is impossible to live because it doesnt deal with nite needs. [Satans rebuttal: He wasnt a true human being, so his entire life should disqualify him from testifying against me.]

The Angelic Conict Appeal Covenant / Taylor Williams

18

1) This argument against Christs perfect, sinless life did not become an issue until after Satan failed to get him to sin. 1 1John 4:1-3 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the
spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God.

2) The issue of Christs quali cation to be a star witness against Satans contentions concerning His niteness is with regard to His true humanity. He is the pattern for us to follow in living the spiritual life. // Finis
