ABSTRACT:
ABSTRACT It seems that information terminals are infinitely getting smaller. However, we will continue to manipulate them with our hands for now. We have visualized the connection between the latest technology and the human, in a form of a pen. P-ISM is a gadget package including five functions: a pen-style cellular phone with a handwriting data input function, virtual keyboard, a very small projector, camera scanner, and personal ID key with cashless pass function. P- ISMs are connected with one another through short-range wireless technology. The whole set is also connected to the Internet through the cellular phone function. This personal gadget in a minimalistic pen style enables the ultimate ubiquitous computing.

HISTORY:
HISTORY The idea of the new computer was to turn a big P.C Computer to a mini-computer. Ca rol Gafford was came with a pen computer this was created in World exhibition held in Geneva is where we can see that the put 30,000 to this new product. Many countries are working out for development of pen based pc. NEC and IBM Japan are also developing their own pen-based computers. The forthcoming computers you can carry within your pockets these are pen based pcs.

INTRODUCTION P-ISM (Pen-style Personal Networking Gadget Package), which is nothing but the new discovery, which is under developing, stage by NEC Corporation. P-ISM is a gadget package including five functions: a pen-style cellular phone with a handwriting data input function, virtual keyboard, a very small projector, camera scanner, and personal ID key with cashless pass function. P- ISMs are connected with one another through short-range wireless technology.

CPU PEN:
CPU PEN The functionality of the CPU is done by one of the pen. It is also known as computing engine. This pen is used for store mass volume of data and all the external devices are embedded. The capacity of hard disk will be in terabytes. Which uses a 33 MHz i386SL processor, can be configured with a hard drive or floppy drive. All the arithmetical and logical operations are performed with this computing engine pen.

COMMUNICATIN PEN:
COMMUNICATIN PEN P-ISMs are connected with one another through short-range wireless technology. The whole set is also connected to the Internet through the cellular phone function. They are connected through Tri-wireless modes (Blue tooth, 802.11B/G, and Cellular) which are made small and kept in a small pen like device.

LED PROJECTOR:
LED PROJECTOR The role of monitor is taken by LED Projector which projects on the screen. The size of the projector is of A4 size. It has the approximate resolution capacity of 1024 X 768. Thus it is gives more clarity and good picture. The Dynanote's VGA liquid crystal display uses a reflective side-lit design to allow easy reading even with the side lighting turned off.

VIRTUAL KEYBOARD:

VIRTUAL KEYBOARD The Virtual Laser Keyboard (VKB) is the ULTIMATE new gadget for PC users. The VKB emits laser on to the desk where it looks like the keyboard having QWERTY arrangement of keys Keyboard technology:anesta's principal products are 3D image sensor chips which form the heart of Camera Modules which may be integrated into electronic end-use products from cars to personal computers.

DIGITAL CAMERA:
DIGITAL CAMERA We had digital camera in the shape of pen .It is useful in video recording, video conferencing, simply it is called as web cam. It is also connected with other devices through Blue tooth. It is a 360-Degree Visual Communication Device, and easily portable. Conventional visual communications at a distance have been limited due to the display devices and terminals.

FUTURE SCOPE :
FUTURE SCOPE There are indeed need to make advancements in pen computing .If we keep throwing out ideas, no matter how crazy, some of the good ones will stick and hopefully find their way into future products. Keep thinking, keep producing. We have developed 5 pen sort technology but in future we can expect one pen pc in which everything is embedded in one pen.

CONCLUSION In the revolution of miniature computers, scientists have made great developments with Bluetooth technology and t he communication devices are becoming smaller and compact. This is only an example for the start of this new technology. We can expect more such developments. There is no end for development too. Development in technologies arises to development in devices .
