What are HUMAN RIGHTS?

HumanRightsarerightsinherenttoallhumanbeings,whateverournationality,placeof residence,sex,nationalorethnicorigin,colour,religion,language,oranyotherstatus.Weare allequallyentitledtoourhumanrightswithoutdiscrimination.Theserightsareallinterrelated, Interdependentandindivisible.Universalhumanrightsareoftenexpressedandguaranteedby law,intheformsoftreaties,customaryinternationallaw,generalprinciplesandothersources ofinternationallaw.InternationalhumanrightslawlaysdownobligationsofGovernmentsto actincertainwaysortorefrainfromcertainacts,inordertopromoteandprotecthumanrights andfundamentalfreedomsofindividualsorgroups.
