Game Plans (Suitable for choosing) 1.

Synopsis for Bottled Coloured Salt This station will allow children to manually colour table salt using different colour chalks, and then pour the coloured salt in layers in recycled bottles to create their very own bottled coloured salt. Budget: $100 Materials: Table salt Chalk(of different colours) Recycled small bottles(Fuji fruit juice bottle size) Plastic spoons(to pour the salt into the bottles with)

2. Plastic bag folding: Residents are required to learn and fold 5 plastic bags in 2 minutes as part of learning to conserve resources. Many different people can play together at each time. There can be three booths for this game and 5 people playing at one go. Resources needed: Recycled Plastic bags(collect from students) 3x Stopwatch 3. Egg-carton toss: There will be several egg cartons displayed, with each carton hole/sections labelled with different daily actions that may either have negative or positive effects on the environment. Residents are tasked to throw a limited number of ping pong balls into the cartons whereby they carry out appropriate actions and also learn the different things they can do to save the earth. Resources eeded: 3x Painted Egg cartons (three possible booths for this game) Game-cards to depict selected actions Boards(for game instructions,point system) 4. Decoration of toilet rolls: Residents will be given toilet rolls to decorate, beautify with reusable items, bits and pieces of the daily trash we may throw away, which are actually suitable for decoration and reusing. This activity aims to represent an item that has been reused and not simply thrown away, also as a symbol of applying one of the three Rs in their lives. The toilet rolls provided can also be made into different usable items, such as stationery holders, decorations etc. Resources needed:

Fish' O ' Recyclables: Objectives: To allow the public to know how their rubbish are disposed off (into the water) and how we could reduce them by 'fishing' them out. Queue to be cleared at a faster rate (Many people playing at same time). How to play: A hook would be attached to the rubbish. For example, plastic bags, plastic bottles and newspapers would be placed into a container filled with water. Participants would be given a "fishing rod" (wooden chopstick with rubber bands attached) to hook so as to "fish out" the rubbish. It will be a competition among 3 children within 30 seconds, to see who is able to fish out the most rubbish from the container. The winner would get a prize while the other two will get a consolation prize as well. Resources needed: 3 huge containers to hold the water (Three booths can be available for this game) 10 Wooden Chopsticks 50 Rubber Bands Recyclables with a hook 3 Stopwatches

6. Crank It Up

Usage of premade booths

Game name: 'Noisy cans are falling down~' (In tune with London bridge is falling down) How to play: Participant will be given 3 chances, with 3 tennis balls. Then, he/she will have to hit the cans that are stacked on top on each other in one go. The cans will be placed at different distances, for example each stack of 5 cans will be placed at different distance intervals, e.g 15 cm, and 1 ball is to hit each stack of cans. Participant will have to hit down a number of cans, for example 3 cans in one go, for each stack. If all cans are hit down in the game, a big prize is given. However, if only a few cans are hit, consolation prizes such as sweets are given instead. Resources: 15 Metal cans (recycled) 5-10 Tennis balls/Ping pong balls Prizes such as stationeries and sweets

Game name: Green space! The game will revolve around a solar system. Participants will be given Ping pong balls representing planets. According to how well they aim the ping pong ball into the holes, they will be given the difficulty of the questions to answer regarding environmental conservation. Resources needed: Game cards on quizzes Ping pong balls

Game name: Cool the Dinos! The main objective of this game is to use a water gun to make as many dino toys as possible fall into the water. There is a fire background and we can tell them that the Dinos are too hot and will not e able to survive for a long time, therefore, we must help get into the water. Participants would be given 30s to use their water guns to spray and get as many of them into a bucket of water placed below the shelves of dinos. The more dinos that are in the bucket of water will earn them more points. Resource needed: Water guns Buckets of water to hold dinosaurs and for refilling

Game name: Glow in the dark Treasure Hunt Inside the bouncy castle, there are huge rubber containers (so that it is accident-free for kids) that will contain certain items that they need to find. Children that at this station will be given lightsticks/ torches be armed with as they try to hunt for as many environmentally-friendly items as possible. Resources needed: Rubber containers Light sticks/ torches Environmentally-friendly items (eg. Foldable bag, energy-saving light bulb etc) Un environmentally-friendly items (eg. Plastic bags, Disposable chopsticks)

Game name: Living in Darkness The stage would be turned into enclosed area for a special segment, "Dialogue in the Dark" using black cloth. The main purpose is to instill the importance of cherishing earth's resources and not taking what we have, such as electricity, for granted. In the enclosed area on stage, there would be different objects and obstacles to stimulate experiencing of life without electricity and in darkness. One such activity can be locating a chair in darkness and attempting to sit down and stand up without falling. Another is to locate a table, find a pen and paper on it, and attempt to write complete legible words without the help of light. Resources: Chairs Tables Pens Pieces of plain paper Bottled water Plastic jugs and cups
