Communication Agenda:
Agenda 1) Dress Down for Students a) Designating a SPECIFIC day for Class Eagle Winners to dress down--so that everyone knows b) School wide events where incentive includes dressing down--day needs to be assigned during the "planning stages"--not a last minute decision c) Spirit Day--allow students to wear shirts and uniform bottom--need to pick a day--not Friday--to allow students to wear this 2) Reading Initiatives a) Renaissance Place Widget on School websiteday, week or month b)Waffle House Top 1st Semester AR--March 26th--tentative date in the AM c) National Library Week--During Spring Break--Another push for signing up for Live Oak Public Library d) April is Poetry Monthpoems on morning show Other Items 1) Collection of information requested about grade level costs for donations, field trips, supplies, school-wide initiatives, programs, etc. Please list for me in a Spreadsheet by grade and by month with an average cost per child in each grade. 2) Check to see how many hits on webpage. 3) Lunch BuddyMusic in the Lunch Room

One to two week notice so it has time to go in Communication Folders. Comment [S3]: Limit Spirit Shirt Days to field trips, field week, and dress down days. Comment [S4]: Update Weekly Comment [S5]: Top boy and top girl from each class for 1st and 2nd marking periods. Wait until announcement is made for students to come to cafeteria. Comment [S6]: Call Public Library to get Summer Schedule of events and send that home in communication folders. Party for class that brings in the most public library cards. Party type and school wide/grade level TBA depending on money available in PTA. Comment [S7]: Check with PTA to see if there is a night available for Open Mic with Poets. If no PTA meeting allow readers on morning show. Literary terms and definitions on morning show. Comment [S8]: SIT TEAM has been assigned to this task. Comment [S9]: Google Analytics have been set up for WCES to show how many hits. Websites that update receives more hits. Comment [S10]: Need to include memo about not talking when music is onadd to signs/labels/etc. On lunch buddy day, administrator needs to be present in cafeteria for all lunch periods. Change lunch buddies from once per month to once per quarter. Add extra tables on the stage for parents. Alternatives to music: new music, low music the entire time, rotate songs, etc.
