Get Real, somebody needs you!

Scripture: Col 3:1-17

The body of Christ is in a position spiritually and naturally where we have lost territory, people and purpose. Instead of living opposite the world we have taken on the characteristics of the world we are to affect change in. Instead of us having influence on the world the world is influencing the church. god has not become slack in his standards, but we have gotten weak in our faith in God. It seems that we have decided to be transformed into the world to, as we say draw the world to God, but in fact we have diverted from the plan of God and have caused the flesh nature to be more concerned about numbers than souls, people need to be saved, in the church and out of the church, people are living their lives how they want to and you cant tell the difference if they are saved or not! clicques, confusion, fighting goin on in the house of God, adultery, fornication, lying, back biting going on in Gods house, and we tell the new converts, to ignore what they see. We need to get real!!! God is calling us to get real in this hour, God wants us to walk in power in the earth, but we have to live a holy life before God that others may experience Him through us. Paul is writing to the church in Colosse and telling them again that this is not a flesh walk, it is not about looking the part, it is about being the new creation in Jesus, the things you use to do you dont do any more. Just as paul told the Corinthians, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 cor. 5:17 *****It is time to mature( you died with Christ and were raised with him- you are a new creation) *How can you hate your brother or sister in Christ, talking about them and say you are saved, a new creation, john says, 1 john 3:14, we know that we have passed from death to life because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. ****There should be some sign Gal. 2:20, I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me.

If Christ is in you there should be some sign, because He has given you power to walk not according to the flesh( the old nature that is dead) but according to the spirit and you should be bearing fruit, there should not be division, stagnation, bitterness, envy and jealousy but abounding in your life should be, Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23) gentleness, self control, against such there is no law. Gal. 5:22-23 But not only that Jesus said in John 14:12, He who believes in me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to the father. (he has given us a mandate to save souls, to evangelize the gospel and draw souls to Christ because of His spirit in us.) Just as he told the apostles in Matt. 10:8, Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. As a believer you have been authorized to walk in the power and authority on this earth, The world is looking for that power, people in your family they are looking for that power and it is time for us to be real. The world is hurting, and we are partly to blame, we have allowed idolatry, religion, and the things of the world to come in and cause us to lose focus, to be distracted but I say be loosed off the mind of the believers spirit of distraction, spirit of fear, spirit of religion and be bound into the pit of hell. and I release from heaven now the peace that passeth all understanding, strength and power, and intimate relationship with the most high God. **** You should be a withness: Jesus said unto the Apostles before He ascended unto heaven and after He gave them the commission and mandate, But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and samaria and to the end of the earth. acts 1:8 You should have such an intimate and experiential relationship with God that you can tell many, many testamonies about the Lords goodness. It is time to be real, there are people who are in need of a supernatural encounter with a supernatural God. They need you to be in place to receive the outpour of the Spirit of God that you no longer walk in your flesh but in the spirit, with power, with maturity, with the fruit and that you pour into others, freely giving what God has given to you through Jesus. Its not about what you look like on the outside, what people think about you, or what you have, it is about are you doing, living and preaching before God

and man what God has created and commanded you too. Things are not always going to be easy in life but as a believer who has hope in Christ, your sufferings are not hopeless like someone who is still waiting on a savior. Lets be real
