Grading:
Term mark calculated with following weighting: Test 1(1 hour)-weighting: 1/4 Test 2 (2 hours)- weighting: 2/4 Test 3 (1 hour)- weighting: 1/4 a) For those students that do all 3 tests: Final Mark= 60% of max(Term Mark, Final Exam) + 40% of min(Term Mark, Final Exam) b) For those students that miss any tests: No make-up tests will be given. If a student misses any test and provides an acceptable reason, for example, being ill (together with a doctor's note), then the weighting for that component will be added to the weighting for the final (40%).

Behavior:
All cell phones and pagers are to be shut off during class. Students are responsible for familiarizing themselves with York University policies and regulations concerning academic conduct.
