The typical man and woman falling in love does not suffice anymore, when the woman dies in the story and their love is forever stopped adds a whole new emotional side to the love story. There is no longer happy or sad, it is a mix of feelings towards the story. The brief feeling of joy, is such only inasmuch as it intensely excites, by elevating the soul; and all intense excitements are, through a psychal necessity, brief (Composition). The reader or viewer hopes for the best in the relationship on going by the characters but by the surprise of death and sudden end of the love makes the reader or viewer question their own loves and desires. The contribution of your stories has given our culture the hopes of everlasting love and lives on through movies and others stories. Movies such as One Day or A Walk to Remember are samples of the She Dies genre. They start off as the love being unknown, a blank slate. The characters meet with a rocky beginning putting tension on the viewers feeling towards their love. The characters form a bond out by being friends and secretly falling in love. Giving all hope to viewers that they might one day have a pure long lasting love. In the Annabel Lee poem which describes this type of love the viewers hope for, But we loved with a love that was more than love- I and my Annabel Lee (Annabel). Then all of the sudden the female character dies, in One Day by a big speeding truck or A Walk to Remember by cancer. Leaving the viewers in confusion, they wanted an everlasting love to give them hope for the love they want to conquer with a significant other. But the tragedy of death makes the characters relationship surreal, as if an actually couple were to loss each other and their love is forever gone. There have been many stories influenced by the writings, which have influenced the minds of individuals. Assumingly, makes viewers want to find a love to fall in love with. No longer do you dream to fall in love naturally, they fall in love with the idea of a pure, inseparable love, as the stories describe. The stories influence music by the lyrics talking about love and how great it is to be in it. It influences country, rap, jazz, and many more. Most songs out of the radio today have to do with love and the loss of it. The love genre is forever changed by She Dies genre, a classification all on its own because of its dramatic influence on the literary world. The stories written by you will live on forever because the way the stories portray love and the motivational words of finding an amazing love.
