CONSISTENCY IN CHRIST

You often wonder why after you gave your life to Christ, it seemed as if you fell back into the same sins you asked God to forgive you of. It is because the devil wants to stop you from being consistent. So after you fall time and time again you feel dejected. Feelings that God cannot forgive you start reigning predominantly in your mind. That is a lie of the devil. All the devil wants is to cause a separation between you and God. But know this that Gods love even abounds more for you. He does not hate you, he has never hated you all he hates is sin. All you have to do is to go boldly to His throne of mercy and obtain mercy. Another major way the devil tries to get his way is through laziness. He slowly tries to make us lazy towards the things of God. This 1Ch 28:7 is very dangerous because gradually I will establish his kingdom forever if he we completely detach from God. If loyally and continuously obeys My we detach we commandments and My ordinances, as he entirely miss out of Gods perfect plan for our lives. The does today. only way we can overcome laziness is by being consistent to the point that it becomes a habit. Consistency is the ability to maintain a particular standard or repeat a particular task with minimal variation. The anchor scripture says that it is only when you consistently carryout/obey Gods commands and laws that your kingdom would be established forever. Meaning that, everything pertaining to you becomes prosperous and successful forever. This connotes that His blessings over your life will extend to generations after you just as it happened to Abraham, David e.t.c. generations after them enjoyed the blessings of God due to the consistency in the relationship these ones had with God. Our perfect example, Jesus Christ, was consistent in his mission to save mankind. Christ shows consistency even when we dont reciprocate. If Jesus is not consistent, we will be doomed forever. The question that comes to mind is how can I be consistent in Christ? You have to be determined to be consistent in Christ but you can only achieve this through discipline. If you are not disciplined you will remain a dreamer/aspirant. Jesus was determined to save mankind and he achieved it by proper discipline and diligence. He was able to overcome the devil because he rebuked the devil anytime he tried showing up. He was versed in the scriptures, he prayed continually, giving thanks always and he relied on the power of the Holy Spirit to help him. His success is the most relevant and memorable one we have today. So if you want to be consistent, just follow the principles that Jesus followed. These principles guarantee success in every field of endeavor. Finally, consistency to Christ is far better than rare moments of greatness because it assures us eternal greatness with Christ.

HIS BLOOD: His love for u

So many people feel dejected, frustrated at how their lives have turned out to be. Most of the times it turns out to be because of the wrong choices they made. Others are due to the factors that surround them. dejection is of the devil

DEALING WITH FRUSTRATION AND DEJECTION.

Some people (Christians) feel frustrated or dejected when things stop happening in their favor all of a sudden. Thoughts of oh maybe I have sinned cuts through their mind. They try to reflect back and really picture where and when they fell. Then thoughts like maybe God wants to punish me for what I did come up. Thats a lie of the devil. God is not wicked. If you discovered you sinned go straight to the throne of mercy and obtain it and you are forgiven and free. I want you to know something, God loves you more than you can ever imagine or think. Lets take an example from the bible. When Jesus was about to be crucified and he was with Pontius Pilate, Pilate did not see Jesus guilty of any crime but when the people persisted he washed his hand to signify that he had nothing to do with Christs death. Did you know what the people said? They said let his blood be upon us and our children. Normally or naturally if that action was to be properly executed that blood would be a blood of murder connoting vengeance. So God should be angrier with us after Jesus death. But Christs blood was used to cleanse our sins and make us aright with God. Christs blood is now a cover, shield, sanctifier for us. What love!!! When such trials and tribulations hit us God wants us to know that he is ever present and willing to bring us out of it. He wants us to trust him totally and one effective way we can do that is by thanking him for what he has done with full assurance that he will bring you out of the current situation or circumstance. You notice that when a huge challenge comes a persons way the devil tries to enlarge the situation so that the person will forget what God has done for him or what God is doing for him at the moment. If the person can break out of that cocoon and decide to praise God (trust him) God steps into it and everything works for the good of the person. Pastor David Bamgoye said if the devil gives you one reason not to thank God, carefully look for 14 reasons why you should give God thanks Another way we can overcome it is by speaking to it. Kenneth E. Hagin was talking with Jesus and all of a sudden a demon came to put a transparent obstruction such that he saw Jesus lips moving but he couldnt hear what he was saying not until he rebuked the demon. He was surprised because he thought that Jesus should have done something about it. Christ said he could only act after Kenneth Hagin spoke. Remember the bible says everything you decree here on earth is decreed in heaven. So when you say it here a heavenly backing follows it automatically. Finally, the devil brings all these things our way so that we would lose focus of where we are going to or to settle for something other than the best. Let me give 2 examples. You projected that this semester you will come out with 5 points and so far after 5 tests you have scored below average, thoughts of okay let me settle for a 4.5 starts coming up and at the end of the semester you get a 4.5 (the devil has achieved his aim). Or you believed God that you will not fall sick this year and you fell sick once around March. Then the next march arrives and you start feeling symptoms of sickness, you conclude in your mind my sickness is always every march and it is just once a year so there is no cause for alarm you have settled for the second best. I believe you know God desires the best for you but until you desire the best for yourself the best wont come your way. Note that the bible says the desire of the righteous shall be granted. So your desire is granted by God. Live with a consciousness that all things are working together for your good and see yourself where you want to be Remain Blessed.
