Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry: The Knights invite you to attend their Fish Fry dinner, each Friday during Lent, from 5-8:00 PM, in our Parish Hall. The bidding on the Auction items began last week, and will continue during the event. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Contact Diane Black if you have any questions. Sacred Time & Space: Heaven on Earth: How are we supposed to be happy and live for today? Jesus reminds us, Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come (Mark 13:33). While our world tends to focus more and more on the end times, Jesus and the Church want us to live today, proclaiming the Good News to our brothers and sisters. This week, our Why Catholic? small groups will be discussing the various seasons of the Church and how we can focus on the here and now. James, Pearls for Wise Living: Jeff Cavins will be the DVD presenter of this 11-week study, beginning April 9 . The sessions will be offered on Monday or Thursday evenings, from 6:30-8:30 PM. This collection supports six Catholic agencies that touch more than 100 million lives around the world by providing humanitarian aid, pastoral support and disaster relief. The funds from this collection provide food to the hungry, welcome and support to displaced refugees, and invaluable life skills to those seeking a better life. Lenten Spirituality: It isnt too late to prepare for Christ at Easter. Lenten devotional material for adults, families and children is available on the table near the loft stairs. Besides our weekend liturgies, our scheduled times for prayer include our 8:30 AM Tuesday Mass, and each Wednesday during Lent the Rosary at 6:00 PM, the Stations of the Cross at 6:30 and a Communion service at 7:00. Our Church is open for private prayer during Parish Office hours.
