Select Method Teaching Aids (TA) : Invitation Card, Microsoft PowerPoint Slide, Worksheet, Textbook Set Induction: Teacher explains that there are different sentence structures used to invite a friend to a function. Presentation: 1. Teacher introduces the key words for invite and accept invitation. 2. Teacher introduces more phrases to invite and accept or decline invitations.

Practice and Development: Teacher puts the pupils in pairs. Closure: Teacher highlights on the importance of stress and intonation.

Utilize Media Set Induction: Teacher shows pictures of parties held during birthday, wedding and Christmas. Presentation: Teacher reads aloud the dialogue from textbook. Practice and Development: 1. Teacher plays a video How to Invite a Friend to Birthday Party. 2. Teacher plays the 'Happy Birthday' music to simulate the pupils for getting the idea for role-playing. Enrichment: 1. Teacher shows some invitation cards. 2. Teacher distributes A4 paper for each student.

Requied Learner Participation Set Induction: Teacher asks the pupils to name about the parties and talk about it. Presentation: 1. Pupils repeat after the teacher with correct intonation and word stress of phrases. 2. Pupils repeat the key words after the teacher. Practice and Development: Pupils role-play inviting, accepting or declining invitation. Production: 1. Teacher asks the pupils to write out an answer for each invitation on their exercise books. 2. Teacher randomly picks some pupils to read aloud their answer. Enrichments: Teacher asks the pupils to make their own invitation cards by using the A4 paper. Evaluate and Revise Practice and Development: Teacher corrects the pupils' mistake whenever necessary. Production: Teacher corrects the mistake. Enrichments: Teacher provides worksheet for the pupils. Closure:Teacher asks the pupils what they have learned.
