SS will Learn vocabulary for describing places, learn and practice describing places, ask and answer questions about it. A: Where are you from, Cecilia? B: Im from New York, United States. A: Wow, it is a very crowded city. B: Yeah, It is. THINKING SKILLS: Making Generalizations. Describing. Identifying. Drawing conclusions.

CRITERIA OF EVALUATION Lexical richness: Student gets enough and for repetition and understanding of the topic. Linguistic correctness: Student uses structures to make questions and inferences correctly. Fluency: The use of suitable words allow student to speak fluently and efficiently. Cohesion: Student understands, analyzes and set of functions along the topic.

INDICATORS Students brainstorm words they have already known. Students will be able to use Wh-questions words. -

PROCEDURES 1. PREPARATION T Introduces herself to SS. SS participates in the activity Around The World. Realia: Photographs from magazines or the web of tourist places. Depending of resources could be printed or using a projector. 2. PRESENTATION T. shows SS. a photograph of famous touristic place.

Ss pay attention the action in the flashcards. T activates Sss Schemata. T asks SS. Where is it? SS. should answer It is Tokyo. Whats Tokyo like? Is it a modern place? Ss. might answer with Yes, it is a modern place. Elicit correct answer, use body language. Does it look noisy? SS. might answer Yes, it is. T elicits more information, Tr. Yes, and?,. If SS. dont give correct answer Tr. Gives it using body language, Yes, and it is crowded. T shows SS. more photographs and repeats procedure, this time SS. should answer according to how the place looks like. If SS. dont give correct answer T. gives right answer, asks them to repeat and then writes vocabulary on the board. SS. repeat. T repeats procedure with several photographs until all vocabulary items have been presented. T ask for repletion of all the adjectives She showed to Ss. T gives some sentences for Ss to fill the blanks with adjectives learned.

3. PRACTICE T hands-out photographs of different touristic places for SS. to practice in pairs.

T shows again how to ask for description of a place. T monitors, provides help and corrects mistakes when necessary.

4. EVALUATION T ask for volunteer to perform in front of the class with photographs given previously. 5. EXPANSION T asks SS to write a description of one place they would like to visit. When SS. finish T corrects work.
