It feels beautiful during the time of winter, watching withering flowers and leaves from the trees and

having a cup of coffee. This is a natural change of weather that certainly makes our mind gloomy. But it seems horrified when a nation started to wither. The life of entire people of that nation had begun to change. Bangladesh had taken birth with a lot of hopes and aspirations. People sacrificed their lives to become independent. But after 36 years of being independent it seems nothing but a withered nation. The socio-economic conditions are compelling us to say so. Unemployment, corruption, poverty, political harassment etc are the major factors of our nation now a day.

To build up a nation, there are some basic fundamental sources which need to be constructed well. They are: Economics Politics Society Education Those are compared as the backbone of a society. But we are observing a different picture in case of our nation. Our economical, social, political and educational sides are the most affected areas which certainly indicate the condition of our nation. Here are the conditions of those areas of Bangladesh. Economic condition: Economy of a nation indicates the economical condition of a nation. The economy of Bangladesh is the 31st largest economy in the world as measured by purchasing power parity (PPP). Before 1980, Bangladesh's economy and foreign exchange earnings were driven by the jute industry. However, this industry started to fall

dramatically from 1970, when polypropylene products gained popularity over the jute products. At present our economy basically depends on garments industries which are in a great danger. Living coast is increasing day by day but the earning of the people is not increasing sufficiently. That is why economic balance is not up to the mark. The increasing rates of basic needs and foods have become threatening. Even the middle class society is facing trouble to afford this. The ratios of exports have decreased in these recent years and radically the proportions of imports are getting elevated. Recently some natural disasters like; Sidr, Cyclones etc are also devastated our economy and lives of innocent people. The rising rate of international market is also a reason of our unhealthy economy. Social condition: Social structure specifies the social circumstances of a population. Our society is filled with poverty, terrorism, political harassment, unemployment etc. Bangladesh is an over populated country. It has fewer options to create employment for the people that creates poverty. More than half of our total populations are living under poverty level. One group of people in our society is getting richer day by day and one group of peoples condition is getting worst. As a result of it, social imbalances are raising and terrorisms and corruption are ruling the nation. Political condition: Politics means a group of people who control the authority and make decisions. They basically sprint a nation. But in the case of Bangladesh the sight is quite horrible as well as dangerous. Here the politicians remain busy with their individuality, fighting with one another. They themselves destroying the national assets and creating political harassment. Here ruling party relates with corruption and the opposition party begins terrorism in the name of remonstration. They never look like helping each other. As a result, the ordinary people are leading their life with a lot of depression, insecurely and frustration. Very recently the

care taker government has taken some necessary steps to get rid from this situation. Educational condition: Education is what a nation depends on. In our country most of the children leaves education at the half way to their education because of poverty. Rural areas are the most affected areas where children dont study after their primary level. They involve with field works or some other works. Most of student cant complete their higher education because of the expenses of universities. There are very few government universities for this mass population. So students have to depend on public universities which are highly expensive. On the other hand our education is also hampered by corruption. Student politics, cheating, question paper out etc. are the most common matter related with our education system.

Causes of failure There are some definite causes of failure in those areas. Especially the political policy and authority are responsible for this. Lack of experience, corruption, illegal business term, broken laws etc. are the main causes that makes our country paralyzed. Natural disaster is also one of the major causes of failure. But the human made disasters are frequently destroying our culture and development. Strikes, internal collusion, low rated currency, lack of technology and investment are also causing failure.

Remedy: To get rid from this disastrous situation we have to think hard and work even further harder. We have to reorder some of our basic sources. They are given below:

Political Stability: First of all we need to instable our political situation. We need some pure, honest and as well as educated persons who really can lead our nation. So called political party of our nation should must have been constructed. They need to be committed with the development of the nation rather than their own career.

Manpower Development: Populations of our country are the main weapon of our development. We need to guide them properly. Training with the latest technology and proper education, the population of our country could be the more effective one. We need to utilize this mass population to bring development in every sector of our society. Among them environmental, political, technical and educational awareness should be raised.

Poverty Alleviation: Poverty is a curse for a nation. To remove poverty we have to educated our people and create much more options. People have to be conscious about the growth of population. Government and non-government organizations need to play an active role. Banks can also play a vital role by giving loans and proper ideas. Multinational companies and foreign countries are giving many opportunities. People need to grab those opportunities and achieve scholarships. The labors of our country who are working abroad are earning many foreign currencies. If we can able to produce some educated and trained labors we can earn more.

Industrialization: We need to provide much more secure industries and need more investments to have profitable industrialization. We need to use vast technology and use qualified

labors. The labors salary scales have to be increased. They have to choose suitable areas for profit and training squad to create proper labor. The quality of goods has to be the best to increase the rate of export and investment .Industrialization is the one major thing Bangladesh depends on.

In my point of view we have to look forward towards our Micro-Credit system. This is the way the lower class people can be helped. On the other hand higher education and technical knowledge are essential for all sorts of people. Political parties and justice have to be strict. Awareness among the people has to be raised. People should have to be more conscious about our environment and culture. And at last, media has to play the most significant role by advertising and awaking people.

There are several government and non government organizations who are putting their effort to overcome from this withered situation. Different kinds of NGO are helping the rural people by giving them the light of education, loans, and ideas. They are making them self independent and raising their motivation towards the development of our country. Now a day they are conscious about their rights. On the other hand Government Organizations are mostly related with the development works. They are trying to organize the country and remove corruption. But it is us, who can do all the changes by raising our awareness ability. With the help of government and non-government organizations, we can certainly change this Failed State into the State of Success.
