Recommendation
So form the above discussion and analysis I can recommend about Bata Shoe Company is that: They should focus on profit generating activities, as the analysis shows that there has been a fall on profit margin ratio from 2008 to 2009Company should also contribute performance in revenue as it has not been able to generate that much of net income compared to 2008. The companys average collection period is decreasing which is a favorable sign. Bata will continue to pursue strict cost controls, improve the product mix, consolidate the manufacturing activities, and transform the wholesale business. This along with the companys plan to expand its retail presence and enhance its brand appeal will drive revenue and profitability growth in the next few years. If they develop their selling strategy a bit more, I expect revenue to grow and increase the profit margin ratio.

Conclusion:
From the overall prospective Bata Shoe Company limited (Bangladesh) running a successful business by providing quality products and satisfactory services. As a result, it has been able to generate profit by protecting the right of the consumer. The above ratio analysis and comparative study has made it possible to know about the total financial position of the company and accordingly recommended on it.
