January 12, 2012 Fred J. Ojile, Esq. Messinger & Ojile 950 Flour Exchange Building 310 Fourth Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55415 RE: Demand by Members of the Council of Trustees to Review Dar Al-Farooqs Records Our File No.: 62767-001

Dear Mr. Ojile: This correspondence is following up on my October 6, 2011 correspondence to the Administrator of Dar Al-Farooq requesting, on behalf of Dar Al-Farooq Council of Trustee members Mahmoud Gamam and Abdulrahman Aladwood, to review and copy all books, records and documents of Dar Al-Farooq. I received correspondence dated October 17, 2011 from you indicating that you represented Dr. Waleed Edrees Meneese, Abdarahman Sheikh Omar and Hyder Aziz and that your clients were more than willing to cooperate with the disclosure of all information and documents requested in my October 6, 2011 correspondence and that a formal response would be forthcoming. I received an email from you on October 20, 2011 indicating that your clients were leaving for Mecca on Hadji and that the records would not be available until the first week of December. On December 2, 2011, in response to my email asking you when a formal response would be provided, you indicated the parties reached an agreement. My clients have informed me no agreement has been reached. Please provide me with any documentation you have supporting your

My clients have a right to review and copy all books, records and documents of every kind of Dar Al-Farooq as previously set forth in my October 6, 2011. Section 9.1 of the Bylaws states: The original books and records of Dar Al-Farooq shall be maintained at the principal office of Dar Al-Farooq, where they shall be correct and complete records of its business, and shall be available for inspection by any Trustee or Director upon request within third (30) days. *** (c) A copy of Dar Al-Farooqs Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws as amended to date, which shall be open to inspection by any Trustee or Director of Dar Al-Farooq at all reasonable times during office hours. (emphasis added). Section 9.3 of the Bylaws states [a]ny Trustee or Director shall have the right, at any reasonable time, to inspect and copy all books, records and documents of every kind and to inspect the physical properties of Dar Al-Farooq. (emphasis added). We have waited for over three months to review and copy the documents my clients are entitled to inspect pursuant to the Bylaws of Dar Al-Farooq and Minnesota Statutes. To date, none of the documents have been made available for my clients inspection. We demand the documents be made available for review and copying within seven days of the date of this letter. In the event the documents are not made available, our clients will exercise all of their available legal remedies and seek full justice in a court of law for the failure to permit inspection and copying of the documents. Sincerely, BARNA, GUZY & STEFFEN, LTD.
