Biology Camouflage is a self- depend method of creatures to escape from predators by changing colour of their bodies to blend in with

their environment. In the listening, the professor is

discussing how the cuttle fish changes its colour to camouflage itself. It does this by using various pigments in its body to hide from potential enemies. This is a common method of self protection that can be found not only in cuttle fish but also in other species of fish According to reading, humans require a right amount of sleep to maintain cognitive function of their brains. In the listening, the professor takes an example as to how sleep is important to humands. He refers to a test in which the study subject was required to type a chain of number over and over again on a keyboard. Those who get 8 hours of sleep was very accurate in typing that chain of number but only in the morning and less accurate in the afternoon. They also did poorly when they also get about 4 hours of night sleep. An average man require 6 to 8 hours of sleep everyday or else that person

cog native function will suffer.

According to the reading, ecosystem is a group of both living and non-living entities that forms various inter-relationship. In the listening, the professor is

discussing an oil spill in the Great Barrier Reef. The oil killed countless fish which in turn decompose and turn into angy. The angy could have killed the reef because they block the sunlight but there was the fish. In the reef that ate all of the excess angy just saving the reef in there. This example shows how ecosystem inter-relates and because the life cycle of the reef was not broken if didnt die in

constract it propers as the can be seen from the reading.

According to the reading , symbiosis is the relationship between two different organisms living together in which at least either benefits from the relationship. In the listening, the clown fish lives in the tentacles of the sea anemone and protects them from protential predators. The sea enomone can use its tentacles to sting fish. But the clawn fish adapts to those by a kind of new mucus on its body. This is a symbiosis relationship because the two species live together and the sea enomies really benefits from that

relationship.

According

to

the

reading,

eusocial

species is able to produce sterile member that perform various tasks for the

productive member. In the listening, the professor is

discussing termite as an example of eusocial. Termites organizes themselves into sterile and fertile members. Sterile members are worker and soldier. While the productive members are the queens and pertile males. Termites are eusociality because they genetically differentiated into both sterile and fertile members. The sterile members perform specific tasks to serve the productive members of the swam. According to the reading, mimicry is the ability of animal to appear to be other thing or organisms to deceive both predators and preys. In the listening, the professor refers to mimicry of both stick and leaf insects. The stick insect looks just like a stick from a plant on tree. And the leaf insect appears seems to be a leaf from a tree going in its surrounding. Both these insects resort to mimicry to plain in with their environment there by hiding from their predators that might otherwise have eaten them.
