Call for student abstracts

STTI European Regional Conference July 12-14th 2012

This exciting conference now has a special programme for students (undergraduate and postgraduate)! As full participants in the conference, students will hear all the keynote speakers, but in addition special Student Sessions will be held on Friday and Saturday. We invite master and doctoral students to submit POSTER presentation abstracts that address the conference theme of Diversity across Europe: Implications for Nursing. Abstracts for the Student Sessions should focus on one of the four goals of the Student Sessions: To compare and contrast graduate education (master and doctoral) in different European countries (or beyond) To present findings of (literature) research To present proposed research question and design of master or doctoral thesis To examine one health problem in countries of participants In addition, these sessions will enable students from different countries to network and to share experiences The deadline for receipt of abstracts is 16 April 2012. All successful presenters will be notified by email by 1 May 2012. Be prepared to give a 5 minute oral presentation of your poster. Six of the poster presentations will be selected for ORAL presentation during the Student Sessions. Each presenter will be given 15 minutes for ORAL presentation and 5 minutes for questions. Abstracts will be peer reviewed by a separate Student Sessions Conference Organising Committee. Only one abstract per student should be submitted. Acceptance: We will inform you about the outcome of your abstract by 1st May 2012. Abstract Deadline for the special 'Student Sessions': 16 April 2012: The full Student Sessions programme will be published in May 2012. Please note that abstracts will be published, as submitted, in the conference programme and on the conference website.
