B.Ed. Degree Course - Distance Education - Two Years

Eligibility > Teachers serving in recognized schools with a minimum of two years Teaching Experience are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. Programme. (Teaching Experience should be in a Nursery / Primary / Secondary / Higher Secondary / Matriculation Schools in Tamilnadu and should have been recognized by the State or Central Government) > A Degree in any one of the following subjects : Tamil, English, History, Geography, Political Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Bio- Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Botany, Plant Biology, Environmental Science, Zoology, Micro Biology, Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology, Home Science, Public administration, Economics and Commerce. Candidates from other subjects are not eligible.
Selection will be made purely on merit i.e. on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the Entrance Test conducted for this purpose and by following Government of Tamilnadu reservation Norms. Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained either in person by payment of Rs. 800/- in the form of the Demand Draft drawn in favour of the "Director, DDE, MKU" payable at Madurai or by post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 850/- with a self addressed envelope size (25" x 35")
