London School of Economic Summer School is the largest university summer school in the UK, with almost 4,500 students attending in 2011.

Accommodation
Accommodation: LSE Summer School students have the opportunity to book accommodation in LSE's Halls of Residence, where regular year students live while studying.

An Accommodation Booking Form should be submitted online once the participant has been accepted onto the program, it is not possible to apply for accommodation until you have received an LSE ID number which is included in your offer email.
The applications will be processed on a first-come-firstserved basis, so early applications are essential

Program Structure
Full time intensive programs consisting of at least 48 contact hours over three weeks The break up of the program would be comprising of 36 hours of lecture & 12 hours of tutorials or seminars Lectures are between 10am to 5pm Time tables are issued at the beginning of the program

Course change is possible within the first two days of commencement of the program

All students would be provided with a certificate after the completion of the program

Important points
English Language Requirements: Students from countries where English is used extensively in education may apply as a native speaker. This includes students from India, Pakistan, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Singapore and Turkey.

Visa Requirements: Ensure that you apply to the Summer School as early as is convenient.

Application Fee: The only way to pay the application fee is via the online system with a credit card.
Processing Time: Applications that arrive complete and with all supporting evidence usually take 2 weeks to process. A student will receive his/her offer via E-Mail

Important points
Course per Session: A student can opt for not more than one course per session. Credit Transfer: A student completing the Summer School would be benefited in terms of provision of credits based on the discretion of the Academic Affairs.

Transcripts and certificates for both sessions of the program are usually sent out in late September.
