Lifestyle and economic perspectives of a village Hinota


This research is done with the objective to study the lifestyle in the village and understand the economic perspectives in the Joint and nuclear family.

Introduction
The purpose of the research is to study the lifestyle and economic perspectives of a village Hinota. Hinota is a small village well connected from neighboring villages and town. Farming is the main activity in Hinota, whereas several other activities such as small scale manufacturing, dairy, transport, etc. are carried out on a limited scale. The Hinota village is taken for the research and its population is 1889 as given by the government 2001 census according to villagers its present population is 3500 approx. Most of the formers are cultivating only one crop annually, wheat is the main crop of the village and most of the people are using traditional ways of husbandry, only 35 % villagers are using modern ways of cultivating crops. There are two schools in the village Hinota; one is primary and the other is high school with only 6 teachers and the total students are 270. Students have to go Jabalpur city for higher secondary education.

Objectives of research Objective to study the lifestyle in the village and understand the economic perspectives in the Joint and nuclear family.
On the date of 8 October 2011 a research survey was conducted for the data collection
