View examples of implantable biotextiles, medical textiles, and a demonstration of a state-f-the-art fatigue tester for artificial arteries. Learn about the only medical textiles curriculum in the world. This is part of our Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, and Polymer & Color Chemistry programs. Movie:The World of Biomedical Textiles (6 minutes) starting at 10:00 am, and then every 15 minutes until 2:00 pm.

Includes testing equipment for fiber characteristics, tensile strength of fabric and yarn, evenness of yarn, abrasion resistance of fabric, and other properties used as a measure of performance, durability, or quality.
