Theres not a lot of things I love more than good design. Except maybe a nice cup of tea with a couple of Bourbons. I come from a background in film and video, but Ive development my skills in the direction of graphics, web design and photography. I really like making beautiful things. Im from Canada orginally, but now call the UK home. Canada is lovely, but there arent many castles or Roman forts to explore, so Im sticking with this side of the pond. Master of Arts (Distinction) Archaeology for Screen Media University of Bristol, 2010 Award: Mick Aston Prize for Excellence About: A lot of people ask me what me what archaeology for screen media is. I try to explain that its like Time Team (with whom we did do a placement), but its also much more than that. Most of my own work focused on the intersection of heritage, learning and media. I was lucky to undertake my dissertation with Cadw: Welsh Historic Monuments in researching, writing and storyboarding an historic son-et-lumire for Caerphilly Castle.

July 2011 - present Media Officer | Viva! (viva.org.uk) Project managed the development of new websites, the re-design of current sites and media productions. Web design and coding. CMS management. Graphic design for web and print. Social media management and training. In-house videographer and photographer. October 2005 - July 2008 Production Assistant | Cyberaudio Productions (cyberaudioonline.com) Producer, writer and editor for corporate and training videos. Production coordination, script supervision and location managment. Office management. May - September 2010 Media Researcher/Writer | CADW: Welsh Historic Monuments (cadw.wales.gov.uk) Researcher and writer for son-et-lumire Illuminata at Caerphilly Castle. Headed story development and undertook original historic and archive research. Storyboarding and sourcing of photos, videos and illustrations.
