Our Client NASDAQ listed leading independent clearing brokerage firm, performs securities and futures clearing services, including trade execution and settlement, custody, and technology support. With a majority of its clients (300+) as retail brokers, the client provides services for banks, institutional brokerages, financial technology companies, and securities exchanges.

THEIR NEED

Our Clients application is one of the backbones of NYSE and even one second downtime during the trade would make a huge impact in their revenue. By having such a high IT infrastructure dependency with real time financial data, our client wanted the IT support to be available all time with 100% compliance as per ITIL standards. Moreover, they didnt possess any incident tracking mechanism to dictate the issues in change management and security compliance. With the limited internal resources, managing the IT infrastructure during off trade and trade hours had turned out to be a cumbersome task for the client.

Managing 1200 servers including 4 real-time high critical servers Monitoring disk space, batch processes, and L1 support Defining service levels and measuring Aspires team performance against those

service levels throughout the engagement

Network Management
Defining network and topology design Reviewing network-monitoring process and determining network equipments

(e.g., ensuring routers, switches, external links, etc are operating as expected)
Managing repairs and upgrades like equipment replacement, router patch

upgradation and addition of a new switch in the network


Following SLA procedure include execution of pre-defined scripts, usage of basic

networking commands (e.g. trace route, ping, and ftp) and other utility software provided by the client to confirm operating failures
