(Per-Addl.Secy) Ms.No.153 Dt.23-09-2008 Read the following Letter Dt.07-08-2008 of Sri P.Shiva Rao, Advocate ~ ~ ORDER: APTRANSCO after careful consideration hereby appoints Sri P.Shiva Rao, Advocate, Warangal as Legal Advisor to APTRANSCO/APPCC on contract basis for a period of 5 years with a remuneration of Rs.One Lakh per month, which includes Rs.40,000/- towards retainer fee and Rs.60,000/-towards professional fee apart from provision of Car, Telephone, Office room in Corporate office and Assistance for typing with following terms and conditions: a) To render advice / opinion on all the legal issues and scrutinize the drafts and other documents referred to him by APTRANSCO/APPCC. b) To assist in drafting of replies to various judicial cases filed before different Courts and also in preparation of other legal documents. c) To pro-actively monitor all legal issues / judicial cases and maintain follow ups of all cases pertaining to APTRANSCO/APPCC to ensure timely and effective action. d) To hold Conferences with SLAs / AORs / Advocates / Senior Advocates in important cases filed before Lower Courts / High Courts / Supreme Court of India, etc. e) To vet Affidavits / Counter Affidavits / Contract agreements, Lease deeds, Bonds and other legal instruments referred to him by various offices of APTRANSCO / APPCC. f) To protect the Organization from litigation or unnecessary liability. g) Any other works entrusted by APTRANSCO/APPCC. h) To represent all cases at APERC on behalf of APTRANSCO/APPCC.
