Learning Standard : 4.1. recite jazz chants with correct pronunciation, rhythm and intonation. 4.2.1 Able to respond to: (c) characters with guidance. 4.3.1 Able to produce simple creative works with guidance based on: (b) jazz chants 4.3.2 Able to take part with guidance in performance based on: ( b) jazz chants Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to 1. Respond to simple question. 2. Recite the jazz chant Who is Thumbelina? with the correct tapping and rhythm. 3. Can using finger puppets while perform jazz chant.

Previous Knowledge: The pupil already hearing the stories from their pre-school teacher. Teaching Aids :1. Jazz chant written on the mounting board. 2. Finger puppet. Kinesthetic, musical & interpersonal.

Explanation

3. Teacher recites the chant with simple gesture (tapping table) and pupil follow 4. Teacher explains the task i.e. pupils to joint dot to make a picture of the characters in the jazz chant. 5. Teacher divides the class into groups of four.
