The new Mustang range is centred on four basic models - the Mustang 4, 5, 9 and 13 - classed according to lifting capacity. Each has been designed for a range of uses and environments, based on many years of experience. Due to its ultimate basic design and use of modular standard components are the number of combinations for each model almost infinite (skid-, crawlerand truck-mounted, with or without articulated boom, etc) add to this the wide selection of options. The rigs are equipped with load sensing system hydraulic system which guarantee a minimum of power consumption at every moment of the drilling sequence. Selecting the ideal rig to suit particular needs is a question of teamwork. Close interaction between our customers and product specialists - enabling requirements to be fully understood and capabilities realistically appraised - is something we welcome as the key to finding the best available and safest solution.

Mustang 4, the smallest rig in the Mustang league is designed for drilling holes the range 75 to 150 mm diameter and can under optimal conditions reach depths up to 250 m. Mustang 4 is in its basic form equipped for handling DTH hammers, augers, rotary- and core drilling equipment after adding the necessary adapters and tool kits. Foam- and flushpumps are available and provides additional capacity and safety to the operation. Overburden drilling with methods such as OD, ODEX and DEPS can be performed with the use of a choise of hydraulic top-hammers. The rig is easily adapted for mounting on a range of carriers, such as crawler, trailer, truck or just on a simple skid. Thanks to its small size the rig is conveniently transported to remote areas or will perform well in sites with limited work space.
