group will be assigned two public companies listed in Bursa Malaysia. This assignment requires students to browse the companys website and analyze the annual report from 2005-2011. Students must answer the following questions: 1. What is the companys principal activity? 2. What are the other business activities (if any)? 3. Identify vision, mission and organizational values statement. 4. Imagine the direction of the company based on the existing vision, mission and organizational values. 5. Read chairmans statement 6. What does the chairman say? Cross examine the chairmans statement with the vision, mission and organizational values statement. Do you find any similarities? Or any differences? If so, what is the degree of similarities or differences? 7. Examine the organizational chart or write up about the Board of Directors and Management and the company. From 2005-2006, identify the Board and the Management, what were key decisions they made and what were the impact to companys profitability. 8. Based on the description that you found in the companys secondary information, draw a diagram to illustrate the decision making process in the company. 9.
