 Project Background
„ Daning Lingshi Park is a 68 hectors (200 acres) green park developed
by the Zhabei district government of Shanghai three years ago. It was
part of the master plan to improve the quality of living in the Zhabei
district.
„ The park currently have an brand new state-of-the-art meeting facility
extending to the lake; a pier with rental boats; a lookout drinks stop on
top of the waterfall; a restaurant; an outdoor amphitheater and some
maintenance building and management office.

Shanghai International Tea Culture Festival
„ Early April, the time when fresh tea products are introduced into
markets, the annual Shanghai International Tea Culture Festival is
held in this beautiful city of Shanghai.
„ Since 1994, Zhabei District, being the sole host, has successfully
held Shanghai International Tea Culture Festival for twelve
sessions.
„ Through holding the festival, Zhabei has consolidated its economic
connections with the neighboring areas, promoted international
cultural exchange by means of a series of goodwill tea activities,
and created development opportunities for the District.
„ Over the years, with its unique features, the annual Shanghai
International Tea Culture Festival has attracted foreign guests from
more than 20 countries, such as America, Britain, France, Japan,
South Korea, Morocco, etc. Chinese people from over 30 cities and
over two million local Shanghai citizens have also taken an active
part in it.
„ Since the Festival has gained positive response from home and
abroad, it has become a renowned cultural brand and celebration.

 International Firework Festival
„ Shanghai International Musical Fireworks Festival, held at
Daning Lingshi Park in Zhabei District, attracted 60,000
people during the May holiday.
„ The First International Music Fireworks Competition China
2006 featuring America VS France on May 3; and Italy VS
Spain on May 6. Tickets selling for 180-1280 RMB.
„ The Laser and Fireworks Show during September 24 and 26
at 8pm will be held at Daning Lingshi Park, 288 Guangzhong
Rd W. Tickets goes for 50-150 RMB.
