The cost includes the crew: Captain, First Mate and Deckhand, provisioning, ground and air transportation. This cost excludes: diesel, dockage, spares, safety equipment, administrative expenses, expenses due to technical, weather or administrative delays or forced stops; receipts for those expenses will be submitted at the end of the delivery. In the event of a delay or forced stop in order to wait out adverse weather, make repairs, or sort out administrative issues there will be a $ 150.oo USDlls. daily charge for crew plus associated charges such as dockage, repairs, procurement of parts and equipment including ground transportation to and from the boat. All additional cost incurred will be added to the final invoice. We can not guarantee an on-time arrival, but will make our best effort to complete the trip in the estimated time frame which is calculated on an average cruising speed of 5.5 Kts. A pre-departure checklist will be completed by the delivery crew noting any observed exceptions onboard such as defective plumbing, electric, mechanical or electronic components, worn or damaged sails and or rigging, the presence of safety equipment and the condition of the life raft or dinghy. The delivery crew will monitor all systems while underway and maintain a list of items requiring attention, maintenance or replacement. The yacht will be thoroughly cleaned and a report will be submitted at the conclusion of the delivery, Cancun Yacht Services, its captains and crewmembers are not responsible for damage, breakage or wear of any of the systems if due to normal wear and tear and not caused by improper use or negligence. Payment schedule: 50% of the total is due in advance at least one week before departure date. 50% plus agreed expenses due upon satisfactory completion of delivery. If the company can provide air fare for the return trip to Cancun for the captain and two crewmembers, the cost of the delivery trip only will be $ 4,450.oo USDlls.
