BRIEF The first thing need to be done is to go to the EDU 276 Wiki, this can be found at
OVERVIEW OF http://littech.wetpaint.com/ . On this website you can view my Literacy Instruction Sequence project as well
WHAT THE as other work that as well as myself my peer have compiled in the EDU 276 class. For my Literacy
REVIEWER Instruction Sequence you will find:
WILL SEE:  A “KUD” (know- understand-do) that summarizes the outcomes I have for the section.
 Background knowledge- This section will tell you about the English writing system.
 A video on sound changes that illustrate what each sound of the alphabet should sound like.
 A power point on the English writing system that discuss the history of the English writing system
and where we get words that we use today.
 Application: In this section are four links. The first link is to show the history of the English
Language. The following three links are each links that help to show how you can use the English
writing system in lesson plans for different grade levels and subjects.
 The next section is quiz. In this section my peers had to take a quiz that I made based on the
information from the material given. The quiz is no longer open so you cannot view it.
 The final section is resources. In this section it shows everything I used to make this section of the
Wiki.
CONTEXT IN  For this web-based Wiki, I was to read the course textbook, and give background knowledge as well
WHICH THE as an application for my peers to follow.
WORK WAS  I was also to build a section for my peers to learn from to help with their knowledge from the area I

COMPLETED: focused on.
 I also was to use the Wiki editing tools among other skills such as Scibd and Microsoft skills.
 Another thing expected was for me to asses my peers and to see if they learned anything from the
materials I presented to them. I did this using an online quiz builder and made a quiz for them.
 Finally, I had to capture all the work and resources I used to create this project.
BULLETED Pre-project Skills:
REFLECTION: Doing this project I learned how to use many skills. Before the project I often used Microsoft word to type
other papers for other classes. I had also used search tools such as Google before to find things. Another
online tool I used was youtube to find videos of any sort. In my EDU 276 class we have used Scribd but not
to the extent that I used for this section.

Resources Used:
Doing this web-based Wiki I used the following resources, some in which I have not used before or have to
in any great length:

 Wiki editing tools
Ex) widgets

 RSS feeds
 Delicious
 Quiz star
 Power Point, believe it or not, not many experiences using it.

New Skills Practiced:


The skills used most in making my Wiki project were as follows:
 Using Power Point
 Using spell and grammar- check to make sure that everything was spelt correctly and ran smoothly
 Using SCRIBD to put my power point on to my Wiki
 Used insert widgets to insert my youtube video
 Used the link tool to name my links and put them into the Wiki neatly and organized
 Checking readability, using word
 Used tables in a word document
 Used quiz star to asses my peers on how they understood the material
 Using other search tools other than Google and Yahoo

Next Steps:
After doing this project the following are things I have to learn:
 How to use other search tools that I am not so comfortable with to get the information I am looking
for
 Using tools to asses my students and making tests to asses them with
 Use more of Microsoft Power Point to help me to be more comfortable with using it in the future
 Using more Wiki tools to be able to build bigger and better Wiki’s
