Gandhi The father of India

Gandhi was a Bombay lawyer. He developed the philosophy of non-violent resistance. He opposed discrimination against Indians all his life and he fought for their independence. The independence of India But the way to the independence wasnt easy. The British did not want to abandon this rich country, the British considered the Indians like inferior so they couldnt give them country back. But the Indians themselves were divided. Gandhi travelled throughout the country, talking about unity regardless of class or religion. Slowly the idea of independence began to appear spread helped by violent attacks from British soldiers. The Man Gandhi was already famous as the man who lived simply, dressed simply and defied the British. Then, in simply and defied the British, like in 1930 when he intentionally provoked them. The British had a monopoly on selling salt and imposed a tax on it. But Gandhi wasnt in peace with this idea. Thousands of followers joined him to a long march to the sea to declare that the salt belonged to Indians. After many fight, and a high resistance Indians people make their own salt. Non-Violence The revolutionary tactic of non-violence was born after that the British soldiers had attacked unarmed civilians who did not resist them. Faced with Gandhis growing popularity, British authorities made some concessions. After the Second World War, Britains government grants Indian independence. Gandhi became the spiritual leader. But freedom also released fear and hatred, especially between Hindus and Muslims, the divisions have created two countries, Indian and Pakistan. A nationalist Hindu who blamed Gandhi to be for the Muslims, assassinated him on 30 January 1948.

Phantom energy Phantom energy is simply the electricity that electronic devices and appliances use while they are switched off or in standby. A phantom energy can account for close to 10% of a households consumption. It may not sound like much at first, but it adds up to over a month of electricity a year. Most advocates of the green movement believe that saving the planet starts with an unequivocal change of lifestyle. But even if all carbon emissions stopped today, the earth would continue to warm for at least another century. But this fact dont say that we can do anything we want, we have to remember that everything we do counts, no matter how great or small the effort.
