Bringing Books To Life For Young Readers This presentation will focus on a variety of ways to read and tell stories based on popular, classic, and contemporary picture books. The presenter, drawing upon his experience as a storyteller, musician and childrens book author, will share three relevant frameworks: narrative (how I read stories), interpretive (how I tell stories), dramatic (how I act out stories). My Books In Your Classroom In this Power Point presentation I look at the many ways in which teachers around the country have used my books in their classroom. Student responses range from K-5th grades, but all teachers could learn from these classroom applications despite their respective assignment. Every Book Has a Story In this Power Point presentation I look book-by-book at the various books Ive published and talk both about the origin of the work, related writing and/or publishing stories, and the published work itself.
