Course Description:

The learner demonstrates understanding of basic concepts and principles of folk songs in the Philippines and the world,through active participation in cultural performances for self development, promotion of cultural identity, and expansion of one's world vision.

II.

General Objectives: a. To give adequate scope for bringing out the aptitudes and talents of the child; b. To serve as an out let for surplus energy, which if pent up, makes the child tense, nervous and irritable; c. To enhance the range and quality of student and group participation in the basic functions of society; d. To use the basic skills in preparation for education beyond the high school level; e. To appreciate foreign folk songs and its influences to Philippine folk songs; f. To perform dance drama; g. To perform an indigenous folk dance in the Philippines; h. To perform folk dances with coordination of the body and correct timing in music.

Course Description: The learner demonstrates understanding of personal health and fitness in developing individual wellness for quality life.

II.

General Objectives: a. To develop right attitude towards physical activities; b. To show self-discipline, good sportsmanship, endurance, and unselfish loyalty to the group; c. To gain enough strength, agility, flexibility, coordination, and muscle tone necessary for daily living; d. To use the basic skills in preparation for education beyond the high school level; e. To acquire a well-rounded personality through a programmed physical training; f. To recognize that a man's body is the dwelling place of his soul and spirit and hence should be regarded with dignity and importance.

Course Description The learner demonstrates understanding of basic concepts and principles of music and arts of the different periods (Renaissance, Baroque, Classical/Neoclassical and Romantic periods), through active participation in artistic and cultural performancesfor self-development, promotion of cultural identity, and expansion of ones world vision.

Course Description: The learner demonstrates understanding of basic concepts and principles of music and arts of the 20th and 21st centuries through active participation in artistic and cultural performances promotion of cultural identity, and expansion of ones world vision. The students are given opportunity to express themselves through songs. II. General Objectives: -To appreciate the country's best literature, music, and the arts; -To know the characteristics and forms of well-known musicians of the20th and 21st century and appreciate their works; -To meet the challenges of growing in discipline among the student community by instilling in the younger generation a sense of patriotism, self-reliance and discipline; -To give adequate scope for bringing out the aptitudes and talents of the child; -To appreciate music of every century.

This lesson includes a thorough discussion of concepts in Physical Education and a comprehensive presentation of physical fitness activities such as Physical fitness test, including pretest, safety and healthy fitness exercises, fitness program, recreational activities and different dances. II. General Objectives:
