Its got that Golden Glow that all Amouage perfumes possess but here the glow is mellower, softer. Beloved as a powdery floral-oriental and as a contemporary fragrance that feels vintage in style and quality. Its introductory phase smells slightly herbaceous, with the clary sage waving a quick greeting before the composition moves ahead into its flowery and spicy-resiny stages. The floral heart is a little bit sweet and a little bit slinky, with a dose of dusty-sweet jasmine and some sharper ylangylang beneath it. Beloved later reveals an animalic swirl of civet and castoreum (their synthetic equivalents, at least!) and a hint of leather, the sort of notes that rarely appear in todays feminine fragrances, while still remaining womanly. Hours after application, the fragrance feels much softer than it did at the outset, leaving an accord of ambery and resinous notes clinging to the skin. Beloved has excellent longevity, and its lingering traces on a scarf or jacket cuff smell wonderful the next day. The aromatic top notes are dominated by the rose and the jasmine, with a blend of spicy white flowers in the heart. The leather and vanilla warm base is underlined with rich woods, resin and animalic notes, increasing the intensity of the composition. Additional notes include lavender, clary sage, clove, chamomile, cardamom, ylang ylang, violet, everlasting, cistus, benzoin, olibanum, patchouli, cedar, sandalwood, castoreum, civet, musk, maltol and amber.
Beloved was developed for Amouage by perfumer Bernard Ellena and includes top notes of jasmine, purple rose, lavender, clary sage, clove bud, chamomile, and cardamom; heart notes of ylang-ylang, violet, everlasting [immortelle], cistus, benzoin, olibanum, and patchouli; and base notes of cedarwood, sandalwood, castoreum, civet, leather, musk, vanilla, maltol, and amber.

Homage is a limited edition created to celebrate their 25th anniversary. This is a thick attar, so very little is necessary. It features notes of Rose Taifi, silver frankincense, Tayyiba (jasmine), sweet amber, white musk, silver oud and Al Andalus (blend of orange, lemon and sandalwood). This is a magnificent attar of the finest quality.
In keeping with the grand traditions of Arabian perfume making, and to mark its 25th Anniversary, Amouage presents its limited edition attar Homage. Homage was created by master attar-blenders under the guidance of Amouages Creative Director, Christopher Chong. The attar is a heady floral, dominated by Rose Taifi, the finest quality oil extracted from the petals of a rose, which is famed throughout the Gulf for its rich and romantic essence. The name derives from the ancient city of Taif where the precious rose was grown and guarded by the Saudi Kings who ruled the city, as a valuable and rare treasure. Complementing this, the finest Silver Frankincense, Tayyiba, a beautiful blend of Jasmine and Sweet Amber, Silver Oud and Al Andalus, a subtle blend of Citrus and Sandalwood. Tribute is the new attar by Amouage. An attar is made by distilling petals and using a base of oil resulting in a very highly concentrated perfume. Tribute contains a blend of more than one hundred of the finest natural essences in the world, many of which are unique to Oman. The silver frankincense used is grown only in the Dhofar mountains in the south of Oman and Rose Taifi is the rarest and most precious oil extracted from rose petals. An entire field of roses is required to produce one small bottle of Tribute.

Amouage Oudh Al Khaloud
A unisex scent, which means oudh of eternity in Arabic:Oudh means wood and Al Khaloud is Eternity. It is a very rare and precious oil, extracted from the Agarwood tree, native to South-East Asia and India. The fragrance is widely used in the Gulf, its very rare and very long lasting, usually used in the winter. They believe that it is the fragrance of Heaven. This Oudh is found in the forest of India, Cambodia and some in Malaysia, it is a very expensive and treasured attar. A good quality Oudh oil should be at least 30 years old and above and a dark brownish colour.

Al Shomukh is a blend of silver oudh, vetiver, musk Abyadh, rose Taifi and davana. Absolutely incredible!! The oud used in this fragrance is a smooth, very animalic one. Silver Oudh, Vetiver, Musk Abyadh, Rose Taifi and Davana. Wearable for men and women, although to me it seems to tend even a bit more on the masculine side. After the deep, animalic top and heart, it dries down to a very dry base of hay notes and vetiver. Never smelled another fragrance that starts animalic before turning to a smooth, green-sepia base! A very unusual combination of amber and herbacious notes. Like the other attars, its price may be quite high, but worth every single cent: one single drop is enough and lasts for hours and hours
