Company Background
Ask teacher if we need to create a old company background or we can use a new creation
company.

Introduction
This handbook is describing the companys policies for the workers. The policies are based
on normal Danish rules of employment. The rules count at all-time unless something else is stated.

Conditions for salary and employment


AC Contractors are rewarding their craftsmen and foremen by the hour, their salaries are
discussed once a year and other employees are salaried employee. AC Contractors tries to devote
that all employees has experience before they are hired.

Working time
Working hours shall be according to Danish law.
On weekdays the work starts at 7.00 a clock until 16.00, breaks are from 9.00-9.30 and
12.00-12.30, in case of overtime it will be stated in time.

Illness
Sick pay is according to Danish law.
In case of illness it must be reported to the secretary before 07.00, even though that its
for several days. If the illness takes more than 5 working days the worker must show a medical
certificate stating the illness.

Holidays
All workers must hold as many holidays as their union demands, the days must be planned
together with the nearest superior. They should ask for it as soon as possible.

Staff benefits
All leaders have a company smartphone, which must be used in the workers spare time.
The phone will have internet connection and the leaders need to be always connected.
All leaders have a company car which they may use for transport between the company
and their homes, some of the craftsmen will be given a company car or ban for the same purpose.

Alcohol politic
It is not allowed to drink in the working time, as well as it is not allowed to show up drunk
at work.

IT-politic
AC Contractors is using Windows 7, and the office pack for handling all documents, the
drawing are on ADT and Revit.
Project managers and site managers are required to have good knowledge/skills to work
on computers. The company policy is to use web hotel for all projects.

Supplementary training and further education


All personnel must be skilled so that they can take care of their work, and therefore its
required that they will be send on courses so that they at all-time are up dated on new
requirements, laws, techniques, etc.

Work tools
AC Contractors will at all-time be updated with the newest hand tools, large machinery
(which have a value superior as 10000dkk) will be rented so that the machinery is tailored to the
exact purpose.

Working environment
Its important for AC Contractors that the workers are happy to go to work, that means
that if an employee is unhappy about his/her situation they can at all-time go to managing director
to present their concerns. AC Contractors provides its workers with all the necessary equipment
and assistance to ensure their optimal health and safety in the workplace.

Quality assurance
In all cases there must be made quality control which the foreman will be responsible for,
but all employees can be given the task to perform the quality control.
All projects are done according to the companies Quality handbook.

Conditions for insurance


All employees are included in the companies insurances, which are responsibility,
accident, life assurance and disabled insurance.

Trainees
DD Contractors will try to fill as many trainee positions as possible. In that way the
company has the possibility to hire people that know the company and the company knows. This
also gives access to people in the vacation time, times with excessive workload and in case of long
term sickness of employees.

Termination of employment
At the beginning of the employment there will be made an agreement between the
company and the employer, if one of the parts wants to terminate the co-operation it can only be
done according to the agreement.
