PREFACE

As far the M.B.A Programme is concerned it is mainly based of the practical aspect. As a part of our syllabus in M.B.A sem-1 We have assigned some practical as well as theoretical project work in partial fulfillment of the segment, for the Financial Accounting and we have to choose any company to prepare a comprehensive project report for the financial analysis of that company.

The basic purpose for preparing this report is to enhance the practical knowledge of the student about the working of industries, its financial position and this analysis of account. This makes student more familiar about the financial aspect, which improves his analytical and reasoning ability and enable him to imbibe and inculcate various aspect of finance.

For selection of the company we have chosen MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA LTD.

Hence as a part of our project work-study we have to cover all the financial aspect of MARUTI SUZUKI, we would be in a position to grasp and imbibe all the aspect after making the analysis of balance sheet, analysis of profit & loss A/C, cash flow statement analysis, ratio analysis and common size analysis. Objective: To find out the financial position in the market and analyzed the strength of company.

To find out the various critical aspects of the financial statements.

To get practical knowledge from the annual report of the company.

To know about trends of profits, fixed asset, expenditure, net worth and various other trends of profit & loss A/C and Balance sheet statements.

To show the contribution of various variables in the profit & loss A/C and Balance sheet with respect to total sales and total asset.

To recommend the company about solution of the problems. And one of the most important things is to fulfill the requirements of the course.
