Alliance for California Traditional Arts


Join the Alliance for California Traditional Arts (ACTA) staff for an informational meeting in your area to learn more about the following opportunities. Complete guidelines and application forms can be mailed to you by request or can be found on ACTAs website. We are happy to work with first time grant seekers.

Join us to learn more about how you can apply for the following:
ACTAs Living Cultures Grants Program provides funding for nonprofit organizations to support exemplary projects in the traditional arts. Grant awards range up to $7,500. Application postmark deadline is July 16, 2012. Projects may begin January 1, 2013 and should end by December 30, 2013. ACTAs Apprenticeship Program encourages the continuation of the states traditional arts & cultures by making $3,000 contracts with master artists to train qualified apprentices. Application postmark deadline is July16, 2012. Apprenticeships may begin January 1, 2013 and should end by December 30, 2013. ACTAs Traditional Arts Development Program makes contracts up to $1,500 to support consultancies, mentorships, and travel opportunities that foster a new level of growth for folk & traditional artists and organizations. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis as funding is available.
