    Features of Internet Filing of Annual Employers Return


    1. Complete the forms online. No need to obtain blank forms from the IRD or to download the forms from the Internet Fill in employer's details once is enough. No need to repeat on each form Can select Chinese/English for printing each individual form Can submit up to 20 sheets of IR56B or IR56M Preview summary of forms completed online An eTAX Account holder can sign and submit the Annual Employers Return collectively online. No need to sign on each sheet of the forms An employer must input the Employers Identification Code (ERIC) printed on the Annual Employers Return to confirm the identity before the submission. The ERIC will be updated every year Acknowledgement of receipt will be sent by e-mail to the filer and other persons nominated by filer An employer may use the file of Annual Employers Return submitted through the Internet for a previous year to direct transfer employees personal particulars to the new employers return for the same employee. It makes future filing of returns faster and easier

    From 2 April 2012 onwards, employers can file their Annual Employer's Returns BIR56A / IR56B & IR6036B / IR56M under eTAX through the Internet. Also, employers can continue to file their Employer's Returns IR56E/ IR56F/ IR56G under the same platform.
