Activity: Foundation Week Venue: Emilio Aguinaldo College Date: February 07 12 2011 Last February 07, 2011, Wednesday, the annual celebration for Foundation week officially opens it was being started by a mass at the main auditorium at exactly 8:00 in the morning, followed by a short program compose of President Speech Dr. Jose Paulo Campos about his father whom is the founder of Emilio Aguinaldo College and there is also an exhibit for Dr. Paolo Campos showing about his life, awards, achievements and many more. After the program at the Main Auditorium all the faculty, administrator, guests and students proceed to the opening of booth or exhibit of the different colleges. We the School of Arts and Sciences have a theme of a Palace where in we built a structure of castle. Our society the Psychology Society exhibited the different career opportunities of every psychology students, we post one student research work and also we offered free psychological test, a projective test DAPT or Draw a Person Test where in the students well know their hidden personality. After the cutting of ribbon the students already allowed to go on and observe the said exhibit for a whole week. In part of the celebration of the Foundation week is the TALAKASAN or sport fest in others where in the students of different colleges compete in the different set of sports like Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, Badminton, Table Tennis and Cheer dance competition. The search for the next Mr. and Ms. EAC are always conducted in the celebration of Foundation week. The Foundation days and Talakasan run for one week from February 07 to 12 2011. The last day of the celebration is allotted for the awarding of winners in all of the events and contest conducted in the whole week. Our college the School of Arts and Sciences gets an award on different categories like Volleyball mens division 2nd place, Swimming single mens division 1st place, Table tennis single womens division 1st place, Cheer dance competition 1st place and lastly for Chess we take the pride for being champion. The Foundation week ended on February 12, 2011, Saturday in the coronation of Mr. and Ms. EAC 2011. Our representative for Mr. EAC gets an award as Mr. Congeniality. Prepared by:

The Psychology Society had its 2nd meeting for the second semester last December 9, 2010 Monday at the Psychology lecture room at exactly 11:05am Presided by the president Roselle Castillo and supervised by Professor Nathan Arante, the following agendas were discussed: - Payment of fees - T-shirt Design for the Psychology Society - Christmas party/ Acquaintance party/ General Assembly for the College of Arts and Science - Rules or the Accounting office for the submission and request of funds. The President of the Psychology Society reminded everyone for the payment of the membership fee which costs 100 pesos, the ticket for the Wizard of OZ for 100 pesos. The names were also collected for the Nameplate of the 1styear and new students, the price will be announced further, after canvass. The Christmas party/ Acquaintance party/ General Assembly for the College of Arts and Science was discussed regarding its details. There will be a contribution of 100 pesos per Psychology student to be paid immediately, the Mass Communication department is in charge of the program, The Biology department is in charge of the food and the Psychology department is in charge of the gifts. The program is on the 16th of December and will start at 11:00am, it will be held either at the mini auditorium or at the main auditorium, and attendance is a must. There was a Proposal for the Psychology T-shirt by John Samuel Malabuen, the approval of the design will be after all of the proposal are gathered and deliberated. The price for the shirt will cost 250 pesos. The Office of the Student Affairs communicated with the President regarding the proposal of funds, it should be given a week before it is needed for the immediate approval and release of funds and to avoid delay, also funds of every society should deposited to the accounting office for auditing purposes. Professor Jonathan Arante emphasized on the compliance of every Psychology student to their duties and responsibilities to pay the membership fee, penalties and other payments, so that there would not be any owing documents filed to the Office of the Student Affairs. He also reminded the officers to immediately comply with all of the tasks assigned to them. Prepared by:

Professor Nathan Arante reminded the President, Secretary and Treasurer to pass all reports regarding the meetings and financial documentation to the Office of Student Affairs immediately to avoid any owing on the departments end. The second year and the third year students were encouraged to watch the Research Colloquium on the YLFI Theater during the foundation week. The treasurer was reminded on the updates on the financial report and the refund of the membership fee to be given to the students who have paid on the second semester S. Y. 20102011. No further business was discussed the meeting was adjourned at exactly 11:30am.

The Psychology Society had its meeting for the second semester last January 25, 2010, Tueasday at the Psychology lecture room at exactly 09:35am Presided by the President of the Psychology Society Roselle Castillo and Sir Nathan Arante and the following agendas were discussed: -Booth for the Talakasan -T-shirt making contest -Proposal for the College shirt The President discussed about the assigned booth for the Arts and Science department wherein the Psychology students will be helping in making the said booth. Ma. Joana Puno suggested that the giveaway for the students who will be visiting the booth will be a bookmark to lessen the expense; the bookmark will be a logo of the Psychology Society and at the back will be the Email address of the President for any comments and suggestions. The event will take place on the 7th of February up to the 12th. Reminder was made for any student who is interested in the T-shirt making contest. The students was also informed that there will be a shirt for the School of Arts and Sciences that would cost 180 pesos and everyone is encouraged to pass a Design for approval. No Further business was discussed the meeting was adjourned at 10:15am.

The Psychology Society had its 1st meeting for the second semester last November 15, 2010, Monday at the Psychology lecture room at exactly 12:15pm Presided by Sir Randy Delfino and Sir Nathan Arante and the following agendas were discussed: -Accreditation for the Department of Psychology and Mass Communication Department -Reminders for penalties, Outreach and different incoming activities. Sir Randy discussed the up-coming visitation of PACUCOA acreditors on the 17th of December Wednesday; the selected core group should be reminded that they should memorize the new vision, mission and objectives of Emilio Aguinaldo College. Reminder for a complete attendance and proper uniform was also emphasized; non-compliance for it will be properly sanctioned. There was a brief discussion of the uses of the three rooms of the Psychology society, 1st was the Lecture room where all of the discussions for the major subjects are done, second is the Psychology Laboratory where experiments are performed and the Psychotherapy room which is separated by a one sided mirror where the guidance and counseling is done and assessed. The internship was also mentioned, for the academe setting the endorsed schools are: Lyceum Univesity, Colegio San Juan De Letran, Philippine Womens Univerity and Mapua Institute of Technologies; for the Clinical Setting Sunrise Hill and for the Industrial setting is Meralco. Sir Nathan Arante discussed different activities and reminders for the second semester. He sadly announced that the society will not be able to take part on this years PAPJA due to unavoidable circumstances, and the planning of the Christmas Outreach at the Boys townwill be announced further regarding the details. Sir Nathan also suggested a buddy system so that everyone will be reminded of their responsibility and attendance; a DTR was also given to students for a strict 100% attendance. No further business was discussed the meeting was adjourned at 1:05pm

Activity: General Assembly and Christmas Party Venue: Ampi Theater Date: December 16, 2010 The School of Arts and Sciences had its first general assembly and Christmas party on the 16th of December 2011 at the Ampi Theater, composed of The Biology Department, Mass Communication Department and the Department of Psychology. The program started off with the dean, Dr. Eduardo Senajon welcoming all of the students and faculties present in the activity. He gave a contest for the Department who has the best cheer to get everybody involved, the faculty then decided that the Mass Communication Department has the best cheer. Dean Senajon also encouraged everyone in participating on who can name the most number of students to familiarize every student. After the first part of the program Dr. Paulo Campos, President of the School gave an inspirational message, he also acknowledged a job well done for the School of Arts and Sciences and wished them all the best in their future endeavors. Everyone enjoyed the lunch afterwards and the program proceeded with the games joined together by the faculty and students, intermission number was also given by the Nepalese students from the Biology Department and another by the Mass Communications Department. It was indeed a successful event.
