JCI Philippines Area Public Speaking Championships

The JCI Philippines Public Speaking Contest offers members a unique opportunity to exercise and showcase their abilities and to share ideas on issues of particular importance to fellow members. A speech competition requires a special kind of public speaking, challenging participants to express creative ideas in a clear and captivating manner. Every well-prepared speech should have an introduction that captures the attention of the audience, a body featuring the speakers message, and a powerful conclusion summarizing the speakers arguments. The competition is intended to give the finest speakers an opportunity to compete for greater recognition and challenge. National contest winners are encouraged to compete at the JCI Area Conferences. The winner from each JCI Conference is then expected to represent his or her Area in the final round of the JCI World Public Speaking Championship at the JCI World Congress to be held in Osaka, Japan, November 02 07, 2010. The topic of the 2010 JCI World Public Speaking Championship is:

Let us be the change
