ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Strong leadership and teamwork experience. Managed multidisciplinary teams of programmers, designers, and technical writers. The primary focus of these teams was to rapidly develop website and software prototypes. My roles primarily consisted of conducting interviews, field observations, and surveys, developing personas and scenarios, sketching storyboards, and creating wireframes and mockups Designed a web interface for a 3D body scanning and online retail service Collaborated with Dutch communications students to research the usability and accessibility of public kiosks for visually impaired and illiterate users Designed a web-based feedback system for a multi-user education tool for classrooms in developing countries (MultiLearn) Created an interactive prototype of the UW Hall Health online care system and UW Online Registration system

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Focus and drive to work independently. My professional experience has allowed for creative freedom, but also required strong time and resource management skills in order to meet project goals. My ability to work autonomously has also fueled my passion for emerging technology, allowing me to explore new forms of interaction. Personal projects over the past two years include: Construction of a two-dimensional infrared vision-tracking system implemented for use in large screens or surfaces Development of a three-dimensional scanning and printing process with a focus on low cost and scalability
