Jordan

This story is about a boy, who lived a normal life but became a famous player of his state. Basketball was his passion, but his parents didnt like this. So, his parents decided to throw him out of the house as they had a huge hatred for basketball and were scared that their reputation would be jeopardized. He had nothing but food that would last for a week and a basketball yet he planned to play his first match of the FIBA tournament that season but didnt have money for transportation. His name was Jasminder Singh and he was a person who was very passionate about basketball. A few days later, Larry Drew whos the coach of the Atlanta Hawks, comes to India to see the FIBA tournament to see which player was good enough to join his team. But on his way to the tournament, he saw Jasminder playing basketball and liked the way he shot the ball in the basket and the way he did tricks. He went to Jasminder and asked him to play a short oneonone match against him. Jasminder lost to Larry 18-16. In spite of winning Larry still asked him whether he would join his team and also gave him a Gatorade to refresh himself. The only condition to join the team being he changes his name. So Jasminder changed his name to Jordan. In 2010, Larry and Jordan went to Chicago where Larry introduced Jordan to his players and took him for a small tour around the place. Jordan completely enjoyed his time and was prepared to play his first match in the NBA tournament .The match was against Los Angeles Lakers who were sixteen times world champions. After half time, the Atlanta Hawks were winning with score being 56-50 and this was

because of Jordans offense and defense. Though he didnt shoot a single three pointer. This made Simon Hawks, the star player of LA Lakers angry because their team was losing to a minor team and an Indian was making the Atlanta Hawks win (he hated Indians). After half time was over, Simon started fouling Jordan, which made him lose his temper, and Jordon started beating him up which made Simon get injured. For this, Jordan was taken to jail and the Atlanta Hawks were disqualified. In 2011, Jordan was tried in court and after a lot of pleading from Larry the court allowed Jordan to play in the tournament. Jordan was back with a bang with most of the matches resulted in winning and some of them resulted in losing. With this result they came to the finals where they had to face the Los Angeles Lakers again. During the match, Simon tried fouling Jordon again, but as soon as he came towards him, he passed the ball to his teammate and pushed him to the side. At the final quarter, there was only one second left and Jordan had the ball at the three-pointer line. The Los Angeles Lakers were winning with the score being 76-74. If Jordan got a basket his team would win else they would lose. Though he never shot a three pointer before, he still went for it. The ball hit the ring; the balls speed slowly reduced and went inside the ring. Jordan was filled with joy as he had shot his first three-pointer and made the winning basket. After the match, he went to Simon and told him Anger doesnt lead you to win a match, but keeping your cool does. A few days after the match, Jordan planned to go back to India. But unfortunately, his plane crashed and he went along with it. Even though he died, everyone respected him and Indians became more passionate towards basketball.

A Basketball player from India is discovered by the coach of Atlanta Hawks and is sent to Atlanta to play. He discovers that the NBA is a double-edged sword of glamour and deceit. Will he survive?
