TD is planning to implement? Question 2 Of the possible reports in today that need to be migrated to OBIEE, what is the level of complexity? The effort required to migrate the reports will be dependent on the complexity. Question 3 Does Finance Department is accountable for administering its own business processes and has its own Information Technology services. Is the Data Warehouse centralized under the Toronto-Dominion Bank Technology Services? Are the software licenses centralized under the Toronto-Dominion Bank Technology Services? Are the ETL & BI Servers centralized under the Toronto-Dominion Bank Technology Services? Does this mean that data sources might be unique with each identified source systems? Does this mean reports might be customized by each application like Oracle Financials, PSGL, FMS and SAP platforms?

Question 4 The RFP discusses the technical migration / conversion of BI reports and ETL processes. It does discuss Testing, Production deployment or Postproduction support tasks. Further to this point; are Transition planning, Training within the scope of the RFP? Question 5 The RFP doesnt provide any milestone dates for the migration / conversion work. Is there any expectation the work will be completed by a pre-determined date?

Are there any key dates (e.g. Business/Financial/Statutory processing) we should be aware of?

Question 6 The RFP makes clear this is process of revisiting its Reporting & Analytics Strategy to product release levels. Can the TD confirm, source, staging & target data structures will remain unchanged while the work is in progress?

Question 7 The RFP places no restrictions on where the migration / conversion work may be performed. In order to reduce costs, we may propose to perform some of the work at an off-shore facility. Are there any restrictions preventing us from performing some of the work off-shore? This implies off-shore access to dev / test data; is off-shore data access a restriction? Question 8 The RFP doesnt describe what environments are available to DataStage & OBIEE. What environments are available (DEV, TEST, QA, PROD)?

Question 9 The data source the RFP describes is Oracle Financials, PSGL, FMS and SAP. What are the data sources that DataStage accesses? These data sources - Oracle Financials, PSGL, FMS and SAP will be only data source that OBIEE access?

Question 10 OBIEE Implementation question: What is the security environment: SSO?

Question 11 OBIEE Implementation question: Assumption is that this is standard OBIEE implementation, no OBIA module. Is this correct?

Question 12 OBIEE Implementation question: How do you define simple and medium complexity reports?

Question 13 OBIEE Implementation question How many reports do you consider as complex reports?

Question 14 OBIEE Implementation question What is your current SLA for performance?

Question 15 OBIEE Implementation question Do you experience any issues, specifically performance issues, with your current environment? If yes, what are those? Question 19 DataStage Implementation question: Is the TD using any scripting / scheduling tool to run DataStage processes? Question 20 What is the overall timeline for this project?

Question 21 Where is the preferred Place of Performance for this project?

Question 22 Dependencies will need to identified early and taken on a case-by-case basis. Will the contractor be responsible for identifying and mapping out all related dependencies? Question 26 Page 8, Section 5.1.2.7 refers to performance testing.

When will existing performance metrics be made available to the contractor so as to ensure that the new environment functions at least as well as the old one? Question 28 Are there any burdening factors (work proximity, development environment, infrastructure, etc.) which must be considered during the upgrade / migration process? Question 29 Service level performance must either meet or exceed current performance benchmarks. Are service levels currently documented and available? As ETL SLAs may be more predictable, should reporting SLAs distinguish between ad hoc vs. managed reporting, peak vs. off-peak? Question 30 How many distinguished development environments are managed by TD? For example, DEV / QA / STAGE / PROD, etc.

Question 31 Is there any formal project documentation which a consultancy must provide? This is not mentioned within the RFP Question 32 Are there any policies or even project preferences in place at TD which would disallow the use of our offshore team members from working on the project? Review of the number of mappings and migrated reports would warrant consideration and a significant cost savings advantage of performing work with remote team members.

Question 37 Assuming migrated report content goals are to provide as-is or even enhanced / improved, what governing processes are currently in place at TD to review proposed changes resulting variations proposed by a project team? Question 38 How does data- and user-security fit into the existing architecture?

Question 39 In what form do the users access the reports (.pdf, online, or )? Question 40 To what extent will TD support testing for validation for data as well as reports? Question 41 What is the production migration strategy: a full cutover or a segmented approach?

Question 44 Related to reports: a) Can we get some samples of a simple report? b) Can we get some samples of a medium report? c) Can we get the ratio of the number of simple to medium to Complex reports?

Question 48 How much, and what sort, of support, if any, will the vendor(s) receive from the existing staff? Question 49 Is it permissible for the production environment to be hosted offsite, e.g., in a colocation facility?

Question 50 What are the operating systems and versions used for all the servers in the current environment?

Question 53 What are the hardware specifications for the servers used in the current production environment, i.e., RAM, CPU, server make and model, etc.?

Question 57 Kindly specify the deployment architecture of the following components (single server or multiple servers) If Multiple servers is this deployed as a clustered or load balanced or in a parallel server mode: Datastage, OBIEE

Question 60 Are there any reports running in parallel execution mode? Is the system utilizing any XML Query capabilities of Oracle?

Question 66 Has TD configured OBIEE connections to data sources other than Oracle Application, PSGL, FMS and SAP? If so, please identify. Question 67 Has TD licensed the features of OBIEE that are to be installed (e.g., Scorecard, BI Publisher, Act As, etc.)?
