ATTENDANCE POLICY: Attendance is mandatory. Students can miss no more than one class, regardless of the reason. Students must make up their missed classroom time by completing additional assignments, as determined by the instructor. Grades will be determined by class participation, midterm and final exams.

Psychopharmacology:
psycho: pertaining to the mind or psyche. Not the physical brain. pharma: Greek meaning drugs. ology: Greek meaning the study of. Pharmaco Kinetics: Kinetics: is the moving around of the drug. ( the rate of onset, length or duration of action, and route of action ) Pharmaco Dynamics: Dynamics: is the effect of the drug or the action of the drug. Pharmacognosy: the branch of pharmacology that deals with biological and physical characteristics of natural drugs.
