Rabbanaa taqabbal minnaaa innaka Antas-Sameeul Aleem
Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower

Rabbanaa wajalnaa muslimayni laka wa min zurriyyatinaaa ummatam-muslimatal-laka wa arinaa manaasikanaa wa tub alaynaa innaka AntatTawwaabur-Raheem
Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Mansik (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - Hajj and 'Umrah, etc.), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.
(Al-Baqarah 2:128)

Rabbanaa aatinaa fid-dunyaa hasanatan wa fil Aakhirati hasanatan wa qinaa Azaaban-Naar
Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!
(Al-Baqarah 2:201)

Rabbanaaa afrigh alayna sabran wa sabbit aqdaamanaa wansurnaa alalqawmil-kafireen
Our Lord! Pour forth on us patience, set our feet firm and make us victorious over the disbelieving people
(Al-Baqarah 2:250)

Rabbanaa laa tuzigh quloobanaa bada iz hadaytanaa wa hab lanaa milladunka rahmah; innaka Antal-Wahhaab Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower
(Aali Imraan 3:8)

Rabbanaaa innanaaa aamannaa faghfir lanaa zunoobanaa wa qinaa azaaban-Naar
Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire
(Aali Imraan 3:16)

Rabbi hab lee mil-ladunka zurriyyatan tayyibatan innaka sameeud-duaaa
O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation
(Aali Imraan 3:38)

Rabbanaaa aamannaa bimaaa anzalta wattabanar-Rasoola faktubnaa maashshaahideen Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger ['Iesa (Jesus)]; so write us down among those who bear witness (to the truth i.e. L ilha ill-Allh none has the right to be worshipped but Allh)
(Aali Imraan 3:53)

Rabbanagh-fir lanaa zunoobanaa wa israafanaa feee amrinaa wa sabbit aqdaamanaa wansurnaa alal-qawmil-kaafireen
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk
(Aali Imraan 3:147)

Rabbanaa maa khalaqta haazaa baatilan Subhaanaka faqinaa azaaban-Naar Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire
(Aali Imraan 3:191)

Rabbanaaa innaka man tudkhilin-Naara faqad akhzaytahoo wa maa lizzaalimeena min ansaar Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the Zlimn (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers
(Aali Imraan 3:192)

Rabbanaaa innanaa saminaa munaadiyan yunaadee lileemaani an aaminoo bi-Rabbikum faaamannaa; Rabbanaa faghfir lanaa zunoobanaa wa kaffir annaa sayyiaatinaa wa tawaffanaa maal-abraar
Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad Peace be upon him) calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abrr
(Aali Imraan 3:193)


Rabbanaa wa aatinaa maa waattanaa alaa Rusulika wa laa tukhzina Yawmal-Qiyaamah; innaka laa tukhliful-meeaad Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise
(Aali Imraan 3:194)

Rabbanaaa akhrijnaa min haazihil-qaryatizzaalimi ahluhaa wajal-lanaa mil-ladunka waliyyan wajal-lanaa mil-ladunka naseeraa
Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from You one who will protect, and raise for us from You one who will help
(An-Nisa 4:75)

Rabbanaaa aamannaa faktubnaa maashshaahideen
Our Lord! We believe; so write us down among the witnesses

(Al-Ma'idah 5:83)

Rabbanaa zalamnaaa anfusanaa wa il-lam taghfir lanaa wa tarhamnaa lanakoonanna minal-khaasireen Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers
(Al-A'raf 7:23)

Rabbanaa laa tajalnaa maal-qawmiz-zaalimeen
Our Lord! Place us not with the people who are Zlimn (polytheists and wrongdoers).
(Al-A'raf 7:47)

Rabbanaf-tah baynanaa wa bayana qawminaa bilhaqqi wa Anta khayrul-faatiheen Our Lord! Judge between us and our people in truth, for You are the Best of those who give judgment
(Al-A'raf 7:89)

Rabbanaaa afrigh alaynaa sabran wa tawaffanaa muslimeen
Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims
(Al-A'raf 7:126)

Rabbigh-fir lee wa liakhee wa adkhilnaa fee rahmatika wa Anta arhamur-raahimeen O my Lord! Forgive me and my brother, and make us enter into Your Mercy, for you are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy
(Al-A'raf 7:151)

Hasbiyal-laahu laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-Arshil-Azeem Allh is sufficient for me. L ilha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne
(At-Tawbah 9:129)

Rabbanaa laa tajalnaa fitnatal-lilqawmizzaalimeen In Allh we put our trust. Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the folk who are Zlimn (polytheists and wrong-doing) (i.e. do not make them overpower us)
(Yunus 10:85)

Wa najjinaa birahmatika minal-qawmil-kaafireen
And save us by Your Mercy from the disbelieving folk
(Yunus 10:86)

Rabbi inneee aoozu bika an asalaka maa laysa lee bihee ilmun wa illaa taghfir lee wa tarhamneee akum-minal-khaasireen
O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers
(Hud 11:47)

Rabbij-al haazal-balada aaminan wajnubnee wa baniyya an nabudal-asnaam O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols
(Ibrahim 14:35)

Rabbij-alnee muqeemas-Salaati wa min zurriyyatee; Rabbanaa wa taqabbal duaaa O my Lord! Make me one who performs AsSalt (Iqmat-as-Salt), and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation
(Ibrahim 14:40)

Rabbanagh-fir lee wa liwaalidayya wa lilmumineena yawma yaqoomul-hisaab
Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established
(Ibrahim 14:41)

Rabbi adkhilnee mudkhala sidqin wa akhrijnee mukhraja sidqin wajal lee mil-ladunka sultaanan naseeraa My Lord! Let my entry (to the city of Al-Madinah) be good, and likewise my exit (from the city of Makkah) be good. And grant me from You an authority to help me (or a firm sign or a proof)
(Al-Isra 17:80)

Rabbanaaa aatinaa mil-ladunka rahmatan wa hayyi lanaa min amrinaa rashadaa Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!
(Al-Kahf 18:10)

Rabbish-rah lee sadree. Wa yassir leee amree. Wahlul uqdatam-mil-lisaanee. Yafqahoo qawlee.
O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness). And ease my task for me. And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) That they understand my speech

Rabbi zidnee ilmaa My Lord! Increase me in knowledge

Laaa ilaaha illaaa Anta Subhaanaka innee kuntu minaz-zaalimeen L ilha illa Anta [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allh)], Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers

Rabbi laa tazarnee fardan wa Anta khayrulwaariseen O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors

Rabbi immaa turiyannee maa yooadoon My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment)

Rabbi falaa tajalnee fil-qawmiz-zaalimeen
My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zlimn (polytheists and wrong-doing)
(Al-Mu'minun 23:94)

Rabbi aoozu bika min hamazaatishShayaateen. Wa aoozu bika Rabbi an yahduroon. My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shaytin (devils). And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me
(Al-Mu'minun 23:97-98)

Rabbanaaa aamannaa faghfir lanaa warhamnaa wa Anta khayrur-raahimeen Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!
(Al-Mu'minun 23:109)

Rabbigh-fir warham wa Anta khayrur-raahimeen My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!
(Al-Mu'minun 23:118)

Rabbanas-rif annaa azaaba Jahannama inna azaabahaa kaana gharaamaa. Innahaa saaaat mustaqarran wa muqaamaa Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment. Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell
(Al-Furqan 25:65-66)

Rabbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wa zurriyyaatinaa qurrata ayunin wajalnaa lilmuttaqeena Imaamaa Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqn
(Al-Furqan 25:74)

Rabbi hab lee hukman wa alhiqnee bissaaliheen. Wajal lee lisaana sidqin fil-aakhireen. Wajalnee min warasati Jannatin-Naeem
My Lord! Bestow Hukman (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous. And grant me an honourable mention in later generations; And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight;
(Ash-Shu'ara 26:83-85)

Rabbi awzineee an ashkura nimatakal-lateee anamta alayya wa alaa waalidayya wa an amala saalihan tardaahu wa adkhilnee birahmatika fee ibaadikas-saaliheen
My Lord! Inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves
(An-Naml 27:19)

Rabbi innee zalamtu nafsee faghfir lee My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me

Rabbi bimaaa anamta alayya falan akoona zaheeral-lilmujrimeen My Lord! For that with which You have favoured me, I will never more be a helper for the Mujrimn (criminals, disobedient to Allh, polytheists, sinners, etc.)
(Al-Qasas 28:17)

Rabbi najjinee minal-qawmiz-zaalimeen
My Lord! Save me from the people who are Zlimn (polytheists and wrong-doers)!
(Al-Qasas 28:21)

Rabbiin-surnee alal-qawmil-mufsideen My Lord! Give me victory over the people who are Mufsidn (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts)
(Al-'Ankabut 29:30)

Rabbi hab lee minas-saaliheen My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous

Rabbanaa wasita kulla shayir-rahmatan wa ilman faghfir lillazeena taaboo wattabaoo sabeelaka waqihim azaabal-Jaheem Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your Way, and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire!
(Ghafir 40:7)
Rabbanaa wa adkhilhum Jannaati Adninil-latee waattahum wa man salaha min aabaaaihim wa azwaajihim wa zurriyyaatihim; innaka Antal-Azeezul-Hakeem
Our Lord! And make them enter the 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens) which you have promised them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their offspring! Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
(Ghafir 40:8)

Waqihimus-sayyiaat; wa man taqis-sayyiaati Yawmaizin faqad rahimtah; wa zaalika huwalfawzul-azeem
And save them from (the punishment, because of what they did of) the sins, and whomsoever You save from (the punishment, because of what they did of) the sins (i.e. excuse them) that Day, him verily, You have taken into mercy." And that is the supreme success
(Ghafir 40:9)

Rabbanak-shif annal-azaaba innaa muminoon Our Lord! Remove the torment from us, really we shall become believers!
(Ad-Dukhan 44:12)
Rabbi awzineee an ashkura nimatakal-lateee anamta

alayya wa alaa waalidayya wa an amala saalihan tardaahu wa aslih lee fee zurriyyateee innee tubtu ilayka wa innee minal-muslimeen
My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will)
(Al-Ahqaf 46:15)

Rabbanagh-fir lanaa wa liikhwaaninal-lazeena sabaqoonaa bileemaani wa laa tajalfee quloobinaa ghillal-lillazeena aamanoo Rabbanaaa innaka Raoofur-Raheem Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful
(Al-Hashr 59:10)
Rabbanaa alayka tawakkalnaa wa ilayka anabnaa wa ilaykal-maseer Our Lord! In You (Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn in repentance, and to You (Alone) is (our) final Return

Rabbanaa laa tajalnaa fitnatal-lillazeena kafaroo waghfir lanaa Rabbanaaa innaka AntalAzeezul-Hakeem Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the disbelievers, and forgive us, Our Lord! Verily, You, only You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
(Al-Mumtahinah 60:5)

Rabbanaaa atmim lanaa nooranaa waghfir lanaaa innaka alaa kulli shayin Qadeer Our Lord! Keep perfect our Light for us [and do not put it off till we cross over the Sirt (a slippery bridge over the Hell) safely] and grant us forgiveness. Verily, You are Able to do all things
(At-Tahrim 66:8)

Rabbigh-fir lee wa li waalidayya wa liman dakhala baytiya muminan wa lil mumineena wal muminaati wa laa tazidiz-zaalimeena illaa tabaaraa
My Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and him who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women. And to the Zlimn (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers, etc.) grant You no increase but destruction!
