In irregular intervals the creature briefly shifts into a combination of your worst fears. The Shadowlurker is a very intelligent and curious creature. It will seek to take the minds of all it finds in a quest to understand this reality, unwilling or incapable of understanding the damage it does to its victims. Its thinking process is completely alien to anything in this universe. It does not understand pain, damage, souls, or intelligence the same way we do. Because its physiology is so alien to us, it behaves incorporeal but sometimes can be hit like a corporeal being. It also damages its opponents by varying degrees.

Damage d% 1-10% 11-26% 27-50% 51-80% 81-90% 97-100% Damage d6 d8 d10 d12 d20 d% Due to Shadowlurkers alien physiology and mutable nature, the damage it deals varies from attack to attack. Whenever a Shadowlurker lands an attack, use the table to determine the die size, and then roll 1d4 to determine the number of dice. For example a percentile die roll of 21% would be a d8; with a d4 roll of 2, it would be 2d8.
