R V College of Engineering is looking for Professors/Associate Professors/Assistant Professors in the Departments of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Instrumentation Technology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Biotechnology, Architecture, MCA, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The qualification requirement for the faculty positions are as under : Assistant Professor : BE.,/B.Tech., and ME/M.Tech., in relevant branch with First Class or Equivalent both in BE/B.Tech., and ME/M.Tech., Associate Professor : BE.,/B.Tech., and ME/M.Tech., in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent both in BE/B.Tech., and ME/M.Tech., Ph.D., OR equivalent in appropriate discipline, Post Ph.D., publications and guiding Ph.D., students is highly desirable Minimum of 5 years of Experience in Teaching/Research/Industry of which 2 years post Ph.D., Experience is desirable. Professor : BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in both BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech and Ph.D., OR euivalent in appropriate discipline, post Ph.D., publications and guiding Ph.D., students is highly desirable Minimum of 10 years Teaching/Research/Industrial Experience of which at leat 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor OR Minimum 13 years Experience in Teaching and OR Research and OR Industry. In case of Research Experience, good academic record and Books/Research Paper Publications IPR/Patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the selection committee. If the Experience in Industry is concerned, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devicing/designing, planning executing, analysing, quality control, innovating, Training Techning books/Research paper publications/IPR patents etc., as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. Salary as per AICTE norms. Also required non teaching staff as under: 1. System Analyst Minimum Qualification : ME.,/M.Tech.,/MS in CS/SE/IT (second class) or BE., Degree in CS/IS or MCA with 5 years experience in Multiuser, Multitask operating systems. Should have capability to handle various operating systems and software. Preferably XCNA, MCSE, IBM or sun certified.

2. Maintenance Engineer Minimum Qualification : BE., in Civil Engineering branch with at least 10 years professional experience in construction area and supervision of Civil works. 3. Foreman Minimum Qualification : BE., in appropriate branch with two years or Diploma (3 years) in appropriate branch with at least 10 years professional experience in lower cadre or Industry. Knowledge of computer and appropriate EDA tools essential. 4. Programmer/Junior Programmer Minimum Qualification : BE., in CSE/IS/EC/TC or MCA with one year of experience in a Computer Centrer or Three years Diploma in CSE/EC/TC with 5 years experience or BCA/B.Sc., (CSE) with 5 years Experience. Should be proficient with both open source and proprietary languages. Hardware knowledge/CCNA, MCSE or Sun Certificate would be preferable (For Office Diploma (3 Years) in CSE/EC/TC with 5 years experience or BCA/B.Sc., (CSE) with 5 years Experience). 5. Instructor Minimum Qualification : BE., in the appropriate branch or Diploma in the appropriate branch with at least 5 years professional experience in the next lower cadre or professional experience in Industry. Knowledge of Computer and various application softwares connected laboratories. 6. Assistant Instructor Minimum Qualification : Diploma in the appropriate branch or BCA/B.Sc., (IT/EL). Knowledge of Computer and various application softwares of connected laboratories. 7. Mechanic Minimum Qualification : ITI Trade Certificate of 18 months duration in the appropriate branch with 5 years Experience. 8. Helper Minimum Qualification : ITI Trade Certificate of 18 months duration in the appropriate branch or Pre-University with 5 years Experience in an appropriate Laboratory or JOC (Government recognized) in appropriate trade.
